Abstract

Bank BJB, as a regional financial institution, has continued to evolve its learning ecosystem through the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) under Bank BJB University. In line with the rapid transformation of digital banking, this research was conducted to evaluate and strengthen the strategic alignment of LMS with the broader objectives of the organization. The study develops a comprehensive set of knowledge management metrics to measure LMS performance, focusing on its role in supporting learning accessibility, knowledge retention, and cross-unit knowledge transfer. Using the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) approach, the study outlines 39 performance metrics across four perspectives: finance, customer, internal business process, and learning & growth. Each metric is supported with specific indicators, measurement methods, and targets to ensure relevance to strategic goals. Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) was applied to determine the relative importance of each perspective, revealing that the customer perspective holds the highest weight (0.5215), while the financial perspective contributes the least (0.044), emphasizing user-centric strategies. Additionally, 18 objective strategies and 22 interlinked correlations were mapped into a strategy map to ensure clarity and strategic coherence. The outcome of this research is expected to serve as a decision-making reference in improving LMS governance and driving knowledge-based performance within Bank BJB.
