Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) practices on the Environmental Performance of PT. XYZ, a leading energy company in Indonesia. The research focuses on four key GHRM dimensions: Green Recruitment & Selection, Green Training & Development, Green Performance Management, and Green Reward, and analyzes how they influence the company’s environmental performance. Data was collected from 152 employees at PT. XYZ and analyzed using multiple linear regression techniques. The findings show that all GHRM practices have a positive effect on Environmental Performance, with Green Reward having the greatest impact, followed by Green Training & Development and Green Performance Management. Furthermore, the implementation of GHRM has led to improvements in energy efficiency, reductions in greenhouse gas emissions, better waste management practices, and a heightened environmental awareness among employees. These results demonstrate the potential of GHRM to foster a strong sustainability culture within the company and to encourage active employee involvement in achieving environmental objectives. Based on these findings, the study recommends that PT. XYZ further expand and strengthen its GHRM practices, developing a more comprehensive performance evaluation system aligned with measurable sustainability goals.
