Abstract

Industrialisasi yang kompleks. Salah satu mata kuliah wajib yang setara dengan 14 SKS yang ada di Departemen Statistika Bisnis Fakultas Vokasi ITS yaitu magang. Program magang merupakan salah satu upaya startegis yang digunakan untuk menjembatani keseimbangan antara teori yang telah dipelajari dengan praktik yang ada di lapangan. Magang atau program kerja praktik adalah suatu kegiatan pembelajaran di lapangan yang bertujuan untuk memperkenalkan dan menumbuhkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam dunia kerja nyata. Magang dilakukan di PT Samator dengan tujuan mengimplementasikan pembuatan database, form data entry, dashboard, serta analisis pengelompokkan pelanggan dengan analisis cluster.

The era of globalization shows that the rapid development of science and technology across various sectors, including the gas industry, has brought significant changes to operational efficiency. The use of technology, such as data-driven logistics planning, has become a crucial part in supporting the distribution process from producers to end consumers. Technological advancements in distribution processes offer great opportunities for students to be directly involved in the complex process of industrialization.One of the compulsory courses equivalent to 14 credits in the Department of Business Statistics, Faculty of Vocational Studies at ITS, is the internship program. The internship is a strategic effort to bridge the gap between the theoretical knowledge acquired in class and the practical applications in the field. An internship or practical work program is a learning activity conducted in the field aimed at introducing and enhancing students’ capabilities in the real-world working environment.The internship was carried out at PT Samator with the objective of implementing database development, data entry forms, dashboards, and customer segmentation analysis using clustering analysis.
