Abstract
CV. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri pengolahan tembakau. Perusahaan ini memiliki dua jenis rokok yang dihasilkan yaitu, Sigaret Kretek Mesin dan Sigaret Kretek Tangan. Dalam proses produksinya, perusahaan menghadapi tantangan dalam berbagai faktor seperti downtime mesin, defect produk, serta inefisiensi tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengendalian kualitas dan produktivitas pada industri rokok melalui pendekatan Six Sigma dengan pengukuran Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dan Overall Labor Effectiveness (OLE). Fokus penelitian mencakup identifikasi faktor kritis penyebab permasalahan kualitas dan produktivitas, evaluasi efektivitas mesin dan tenaga kerja, serta pemberian rekomendasi perbaikan berbasis Value Engineering. Penelitian dilakukan pada proses pemotongan tembakau (mesin opener), pemisahan tembakau (mesin separator), pencampuran bahan baku (mesin mixing) dan pelintingan rokok. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kualitas merupakan kerugian dominan, dengan rata-rata kerugian terbesar berasal dari quality losses (54,8% pada mesin opener dan 44,3% pada mesin separator). Nilai OEE mesin opener adalah 79,86%, mesin separator 64,83%, dan mesin mixing 92,18%. Sedangkan nilai OLE pada proses pelintingan adalah 79,57%, dengan masalah utama berasal dari aspek kualitas. Analisis menggunakan FMEA dan 5 Whys Analysis untuk mengidentifikasi akar masalah, sedangkan Value Engineering digunakan untuk mengevaluasi alternatif perbaikan. Rekomendasi terbaik adalah kombinasi alternatif yang mencakup preventive maintenance terjadwal, penyediaan alat ukur, dan standarisasi penggantian komponen.

CV. XYZ is a company engaged in the tobacco processing industry. This company produces two types of cigarettes, namely Machine-Made Kretek Cigarettes and Hand-Made Kretek Cigarettes. In its production process, the company faces challenges in various factors such as machine downtime, product defects, and labor inefficiency. This study aims to analyze quality control and productivity in the cigarette industry through the Six Sigma approach by measuring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and Overall Labor Effectiveness (OLE). The focus of the study includes identifying critical factors that cause quality and productivity problems, evaluating the effectiveness of machines and labor, and providing recommendations for improvements based on Value Engineering. The study was conducted on the process of cutting tobacco (opener machine), separating tobacco (separator machine), mixing raw materials (mixing machine) and rolling cigarettes. The results of the analysis show that quality is the dominant loss, with the largest average loss coming from quality losses (54.8% on the opener machine and 44.3% on the separator machine). The OEE value of the opener machine is 79.86%, the separator machine is 64.83%, and the mixing machine is 92.18%. Meanwhile, the OLE value in the rolling process is 79.57%, with the main problem coming from the quality aspect. Analysis using FMEA and 5 Whys Analysis identifies the root cause, while Value Engineering is used to evaluate alternative improvements. The best recommendation is a combination of alternatives that include scheduled preventive maintenance, provision of measuring instruments, and standardization of component replacement.
