Abstract

Inisiasi perusahaan untuk melakukan implementasi Lean 4.0, menjadi hal yang masif dilakukan oleh pelaku industri. Namun, implementasi Lean 4.0 bukan merupakan suatu hal yang mudah untuk dilakukan dan sering kali berujung pada kegagalan. Sehingga inisiasi ini sering kali menemui hambatan seperti kurangnya kesiapan teknologi, sumber daya manusia yang kompeten dan kurangnya pemahaman mengenai faktor penentu keberhasilan Lean 4.0. Beberapa studi menyebutkan kematangan fondasi lean manufacturing menjadi hal yang esensial untuk mendapatkan keuntungan sepenuhnya dari transformasi digital. Sebuah perusahaan otomotif di Indonesia, saat ini sedang bertransformasi menuju Lean 4.0. Untuk dapat sukses dalam penerapan Lean 4.0, maka diperlukan strategi penerapan Lean 4.0 yang didasarkan critical success factor yang tepat dan sesuai dengan kondisi perusahaan otomotif terkait. Penelitian ini akan menentukan Critical Success Factor yang relevan pada industri otomotif di Indonesia, dengan menggunakan pendekatan Decision Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) dan Focus Group Discussion. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa usulan prioritas strategi utama ialah memprioritaskan penguatan fondasi Lean pada aspek organisasi, sumber daya manusia, dan budaya kerja terlebih dahulu. Hasil penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa untuk mendukung keberhasilan penerapan Lean 4.0 harus dimulai dari kematangan proses bisnis dan kesiapan non-teknologi, sebelum melakukan investasi teknologi Industri 4.0.

Implementing Lean 4.0 has become widespread among industry players. However, implementing Lean 4.0 is challenging, and it often fails. This initiative frequently encounters obstacles such as insufficient technological readiness, a lack of competent human resources, and an inability to identify the key factors for Lean 4.0 success. Several studies indicate that mature lean manufacturing foundations are essential to fully benefiting from digital transformation. An automotive company in Indonesia is currently undergoing a transformation toward Lean 4.0. In order to implement Lean 4.0 successfully, the company must develop a strategy based on critical success factors that are appropriate for its specific conditions. This study will identify relevant critical success factors in the Indonesian automotive industry using the Decision-Making Trial and Evaluation Laboratory (DEMATEL) approach and focus group discussions. The analysis results indicate that the priority strategy should focus on strengthening the lean foundation in terms of organizational aspects, human resources, and work culture. The research findings recommend beginning with the maturity of business processes and non-technological readiness to support the successful implementation of Lean 4.0 before investing in Industry 4.0 technology
