Abstract

Kawasan pendakian Sarah Klopo memiliki kebutuhan tinggi akan transportasi roda dua untuk mendukung aktivitas wisata dan logistik. Namun, tantangan seperti medan berat, infrastruktur terbatas, serta rendahnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap teknologi motor listrik masih menjadi hambatan. Proyek ini bertujuan merancang sepeda motor listrik modular yang adaptif, berkelanjutan, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat daerah terpencil seperti Sarah Klopo. Desain mengusung modularitas untuk mendukung fleksibilitas fungsi (seperti angkut barang atau penumpang), kemudahan perawatan, dan pemanfaatan kembali komponen motor konvensional. Inovasi utama berupa rangka yang memungkinkan pergantian penggerak bensin ke listrik secara mudah—mendukung transisi menuju elektrifikasi. Melalui skema Business-to-Government (B2G), motor ini dapat diakuisisi pemerintah daerah untuk mendukung pariwisata dan perekonomian lokal, sekaligus melibatkan masyarakat melalui bengkel lokal dan layanan ojek pendakian. Penerapan prinsip ekonomi sirkular dilakukan melalui desain yang memperpanjang umur produk, memudahkan perbaikan, dan mengurangi limbah. Hasil rancangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan aksesibilitas, menciptakan lapangan kerja baru, dan mendorong adopsi motor listrik di wilayah pegunungan dan terpencil.

The Sarah Klopo hiking area presents high demand for two-wheeled transportation due to its tourism and logistical needs. However, the region faces challenges such as difficult terrain, limited infrastructure, and low public familiarity with electric vehicle technologies. This project aims to design a modular electric motorcycle tailored to remote communities like Sarah Klopo, focusing on adaptability, sustainability, and local relevance. The design incorporates modularity to support functional flexibility (e.g., cargo or passenger use), easy maintenance, and reuse of existing motorcycle components. A key innovation is the frame system that allows simple switching between gasoline and electric drivetrains—enabling a smoother transition toward electrification. Implemented through a Business-to-Government (B2G) model, the motorcycle can be adopted by local governments to boost tourism and stimulate the local economy. Community involvement is encouraged through local workshops and ride-hailing services. The project applies circular economy principles by extending product lifespan, enabling component reuse, and minimizing waste. The result is a sustainable transport solution that increases access, creates new job opportunities, and fosters electric vehicle adoption and technological self-reliance in mountainous and remote areas.
