Abstract
Perusahaan new venture kerap menghadapi tantangan dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mampu mempertahankan karyawan dan menjaga produktivitas. Salah satu aspek penting namun sering diabaikan adalah peran desain interior dalam membentuk atmosfer ruang kerja yang berpengaruh terhadap kondisi psikologis dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana desain interior kantor PT. Kusuma Sukses Makmur, sebuah perusahaan alat kesehatan yang baru berdiri di Sidoarjo, memengaruhi resistensi karyawan dalam menghadapi tekanan kerja serta dampaknya terhadap efisiensi penyelesaian pekerjaan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah mixed methods dengan desain sequential explanatory, yang diawali dengan pengumpulan data kuantitatif melalui penyebaran kuesioner kepada 9 karyawan tetap, kemudian dilanjutkan dengan wawancara semi-terstruktur untuk memperdalam pemahaman terhadap temuan statistik. Variabel yang dikaji mencakup elemen desain interior (pencahayaan, warna, kenyamanan fisik, akustik, tata letak, suhu, ventilasi, hingga identitas perusahaan), resistensi karyawan, serta efisiensi penyelesaian pekerjaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Desain interior kantor memengaruhi atmosfer ruang kerja di PT. Kusuma Sukses Makmur, elemen-elemen dalam desain inetrior sangat berperan dalam dalam menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung produktivitas karyawan, kontribusi atmosfer kerja melalui desain interior sebesar 39,9% untuk efisiensi kerja dan 37,9% untuk retensi kerja menegaskan bahwa perusahaan yang ingin meningkatkan produktivitas sekaligus mempertahankan karyawan berkualitas harus mulai memperhatikan dan mengoptimalkan aspek desain interior kantor mereka dan Adapun beberapa elemen desain penting yang direkomendasikan meliputi: Pencahayaan alami dan buatan yang optimal, Tata letak ruang yang fleksibel dan ergonomis, Warna interior yang tepat, Sistem akustik yang baik, Furnitur ergonomis, Elemen identitas visual perusahaan, seperti logo dan warna korporat dan Integrasi elemen alam (biophilic design).

New venture companies often face challenges in creating a work environment that retains employees and maintains productivity. One important but often overlooked aspect is the role of interior design in shaping the workspace atmosphere, which influences employee psychological well-being and performance. This study aims to analyze how the office interior design of PT. Kusuma Sukses Makmur, a newly established medical device company in Sidoarjo, influences employee resilience to work pressure and its impact on work efficiency. The study employed a mixed methods method with a sequential explanatory design. This study began with quantitative data collection through questionnaires distributed to nine permanent employees, followed by semi-structured interviews to deepen understanding of the statistical findings. The variables studied included interior design elements (lighting, color, physical comfort, acoustics, layout, temperature, ventilation, and the company's visual identity), employee resilience, and work efficiency. The results indicate that office interior design influences the workspace atmosphere at PT. Kusuma Sukses Makmur, elements in interior design play a very important role in creating a work environment that supports employee productivity, the contribution of the work atmosphere through interior design is 39.9% for work efficiency and 37.9% for job retention confirms that companies that want to increase productivity while retaining quality employees must start paying attention and optimizing aspects of their office interior design and Some important design elements that are recommended include: Optimal natural and artificial lighting, Flexible and ergonomic space layout, The right interior color, Good acoustic system, Ergonomic furniture, Elements of the company's visual identity, such as logos and corporate colors and Integration of natural elements (biophilic design).
