Abstract

Teknologi telah memberikan banyak perubahan pada kehidupan kita. Dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, kita tidak dapat lepas dari teknologi yang dapat membantu kita melakukan berbagai aktivitas. Berbagai inovasi dalam teknologi telah banyak digunakan pada banyak fasilitas umum mulai dari rumah sakit, restoran, hingga hotel. Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang memiliki banyak sekali public space dengan bangunan kuno yang masih dijaga dan dilestarikan. Salah satunya yaitu Hotel Kartika Wijaya yang memiliki branding sebagai hotel tradisional yang menjaga nuansa klasik. Meskipun begitu, hotel ini membutuhkan teknologi yang dapat membantu memudahkan tamu untuk melakukan kegiatan di dalam tempat tersebut. Dalam penelitian ini, penggunaan teknologi baru yaitu Software of Service diharapkan dapat membantu memfasilitasi tamu untuk mendapatkan pelayanan dari hotel dengan maksimal. Teknologi ini memungkinkan tamu untuk mendapatkan berbagai pelayanan dari hotel tanpa harus menghubungi pelayan secara langsung dengan mengakses software yang diciptakan khusus untuk pelayanan dalam hotel. Penerapan Software of Service dalam desain ini bukan hanya sebagai elemen teknologi, namun menjadi solusi untuk meningkatkan relevansi dan efisiensi pelayanan hotel heritage di era digital. Hasil akhir dari desain ini adalah terciptanya sebuah konsep hotel heritage yang menggabungkan nilai sejarah dengan teknologi modern. Desain ini menghadirkan suasana yang tetap mempertahankan arsitektur kolonial, namun dilengkapi dengan berbagai fitur teknologi seperti interactive screen dan Software of Service untuk menunjang kenyamanan dan efisiensi pelayanan.

Technology has brought significant changes to our lives. In everyday activities, we rely on technology to help us accomplish various tasks. Numerous innovations have been applied across public facilities, including hospitals, restaurants, and hotels. Indonesia is one of the countries rich in public spaces that feature preserved historical buildings. One example is Hotel Kartika Wijaya, which is branded as a traditional hotel that maintains a classic atmosphere. However, despite its heritage appeal, this hotel still requires the integration of technology to assist guests in carrying out activities more easily during their stay. This study proposes the implementation of a new technology, namely Software of Service, which is expected to help facilitate guest access to hotel services more efficiently. This system allows guests to receive services without the need for direct interaction with hotel staff, simply by accessing software specifically designed for in-house hospitality needs. The application of Software of Service in this design is not merely a technological element, but a solution to enhance the relevance and efficiency of heritage hotel services in the digital era. The final result of this design is the creation of a heritage hotel concept that combines historical values with modern technology. The design preserves the essence of colonial architecture while incorporating modern features such as interactive screens and Software of Service to improve both comfort and service efficiency.
