Abstract

Pendidikan karakter entrepreneurship memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk siswa yang siap menghadapi tantangan di masa depan. SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung menanamkan nilai-nilai karakter dalam sistem pendidikannya serta mengembangkan keterampilan kewirausahaan guna menciptakan lulusan yang mandiri dan inovatif. Namun, keterbatasan luas bangunan menjadi tantangan dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang optimal. Selain itu, identitas visual sekolah belum sepenuhnya tercermin dalam desain interior yang ada, sehingga diperlukan pendekatan yang mampu memperkuat brand identity sekolah.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang interior sekolah yang multifungsi dan fleksibel guna mengatasi keterbatasan ruang, menciptakan lingkungan fisik yang mendukung pendidikan karakter dan entrepreneurship, serta meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna dengan mengintegrasikan identitas sekolah dalam desainnya. Salah satu pendekatan yang digunakan adalah penerapan gaya futuristic minimalism, yang dinilai selaras dengan visi dan misi sekolah serta aspirasi untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang modern dan inovatif.
Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan Design Thinking dengan teknik penelitian kualitatif, termasuk observasi, wawancara, dan studi kasus. Pendekatan ini memastikan bahwa desain interior yang dihasilkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan pengguna, yakni siswa dan tenaga pendidik. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan desain interior multifungsi dapat meningkatkan efisiensi penggunaan ruang melalui penggunaan furnitur modular, partisi fleksibel, serta area kolaboratif seperti co-working space dan ruang pengembangan bisnis. Selain itu, elemen visual seperti mural inspiratif dan teknologi interaktif dalam pembelajaran turut berkontribusi dalam membangun karakter dan pola pikir kewirausahaan siswa. Dengan pendekatan ini, desain interior SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung tidak hanya mengoptimalkan ruang, tetapi juga mendukung tujuan pendidikan yang lebih holistik serta memperkuat identitas sekolah melalui desain yang relevan dan futuristik.

Entrepreneurship education play a crucial role in shaping students to face future challenges. SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung instills strong values and promotes entrepreneurial skills to produce independent and innovative graduates. However, the limited building space presents a challenge in creating an optimal learning environment. Additionally, the school's visual identity has not been fully reflected in its interior design, indicating the need for an approach that also strengthens its brand identity.
This study aims to design a multifunctional and flexible school interior to overcome spatial limitations, create a physical environment that supports character education and entrepreneurship, and improve user comfort by integrating the school's identity into the design. The chosen design approach incorporates futuristic minimalism, deemed appropriate for reflecting the school’s vision and mission as well as its aspirations for a modern and future-oriented learning atmosphere.
The research uses a Design Thinking approach and qualitative methods, including observation, interviews, and case studies. This ensures that the resulting design aligns with the needs of users—students and educators. The findings show that a multifunctional interior design enhances space efficiency through modular furniture, flexible partitions, and collaborative zones such as co-working spaces and business development areas. Furthermore, visual elements like inspirational murals and interactive technology contribute to building students’ character and entrepreneurial mindset. Through this approach, the interior design of SMA Alfa Centauri Bandung not only optimizes space but also supports a holistic educational goal while reinforcing the school’s identity through a relevant and futuristic design language.
