Abstract

Peningkatan kebutuhan energi listrik di sektor logistik, khususnya untuk pengoperasian reefer container di terminal petikemas, menimbulkan tantangan besar dalam menjaga efisiensi operasional sekaligus mengurangi dampak lingkungan. PT Pelindo Teluk Lamong sebagai pelabuhan ramah lingkungan memiliki potensi besar untuk mengadopsi teknologi energi terbarukan guna mendukung operasional berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisa teknis dan ekonomis terhadap rencana instalasi panel surya di atap Gedung Container Freight Station (CFS) untuk menyuplai beban reefer container. Sistem Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) yang dirancang memiliki kapasitas sebesar 869 kWp, menggunakan 3021 modul surya dengan total luas panel mencapai 4969 m². Analisa dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak PVsyst 7.4 untuk mensimulasikan potensi produksi energi berdasarkan data radiasi matahari, serta menghitung kelayakan ekonomi dengan pendekatan seperti Payback Period, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), dan Return on Investment (ROI). Simulasi dilakukan dengan variasi sudut kemiringan panel surya mulai dari 1° hingga 10° untuk menentukan konfigurasi paling efisien dalam kondisi iklim di lokasi studi. Dari hasil simulasi, diketahui bahwa sudut kemiringan 2° menghasilkan performa sistem paling optimal, dengan Performance Ratio (PR) sebesar 81,8% dan E_Array sebesar 1.457,4 MWh/tahun. Namun, secara umum, variasi output energi antar sudut kemiringan relatif kecil atau tidak signifikan. Dari sisi ekonomi, sistem ini menunjukkan nilai Payback Period selama 7,4 tahun, NPV sebesar 560.611,06 USD, IRR sebesar 30,31%, dan ROI sebesar 128,4%, yang menunjukkan kelayakan investasi yang sangat baik.

The increasing demand for electricity in the logistics sector, particularly for operating reefer containers at container terminals, presents a significant challenge in maintaining operational efficiency while minimizing environmental impact. PT Pelindo Teluk Lamong, as an environmentally friendly port, has great potential to adopt renewable energy technologies to support sustainable operations. This study aims to conduct a technical and economic analysis of the planned solar panel installation on the rooftop of the Container Freight Station (CFS) building to supply power to reefer container loads. The proposed Solar Power Plant (PLTS) system has a capacity of 869 kWp, utilizing 3021 solar modules with a total panel area of 4969 m². The analysis was performed using PVsyst 7.4 software to simulate the energy production potential based on solar radiation data, and to assess economic feasibility through indicators such as Payback Period, Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), and Return on Investment (ROI). Simulations were conducted with varying panel tilt angles from 1° to 10° to determine the most efficient configuration under the local climate conditions. The simulation results indicate that a 2° tilt angle yields the most optimal system performance, with a Performance Ratio (PR) of 81.8% and an E_Array of 1,457.4 MWh/year. However, in general, the energy output variation across different tilt angles was relatively small or insignificant. From an economic perspective, the system demonstrates excellent investment feasibility, with a Payback Period of 7.4 years, an NPV of USD 560,611.06, an IRR of 30.31%, and an ROI of 128.4%.
