Abstract

Pemeliharaan preventif merupakan elemen penting dari suatu kegiatan pemeliharaan dan dalam departemen pemeliharaan, hal ini biasanya menyumbang proporsi yang signifikan pada keseluruhan kegiatan pemeliharaan. Sistem pemeliharaan preventif adalah strategi yang dirancang untuk menghindari kerusakan mesin yang tidak terduga melalui perawatan yang dilakukan secara teratur. Salah satu komponen utama dalam pemeliharaan preventif adalah pemantauan(monitoring) pemakaian dari sistem sebagai salah satu indikator dari tindakan pemeliharaan. Penelitian ini mencoba untuk menguji metode dari penggunaan revolution counter sebagai metode pemantauan umur pakai yang didasarkan pada jumlah dan kecepatan rotasi serta pemakaian daya listrik pada mesin industri yang dalam subjek penelitian ini, adalah lathe machine. Dengan memantau jumlah rotasi dan waktu rotasi dari mesin tersebut, umur dan intensitas pemakaian mesin dapat dipantau untuk mencegah pemeliharaan yang terlambat dimana hal ini dapat menyebabkan bertambahnya kerusakan yang tidak diinginkan. Penerapan sistem ini dapat menurunkan biaya operasional serta meningkatkan efisiensi dan umur mesin tanpa harus melakukan tindakan invasif dalam pengambilan data. Dengan demikian, diharapkan pendekatan ini memberikan kontribusi yang berarti bagi peningkatan produktivitas industri melalui pemeliharaan preventif yang lebih efisien, non-invasif, dan berbasis data.

Preventive maintenance is an important element of maintenance activities, and in the maintenance department, this usually accounts for a significant proportion of overall maintenance activities. A preventive maintenance system is a strategy designed to avoid unexpected machine breakdowns through regular maintenance. One of the main components of preventive maintenance is monitoring system usage as a benchmark for maintenance actions. This research tries to test the method of using a revolution counter as a method of monitoring service life, which is based on the number and speed of rotation in industrial machines, which, in the subject of this research, are lathe machines. By monitoring the number of rotations and rotation time of the machine, the age and intensity of use of the machine can be monitored to prevent late maintenance, which can cause additional unwanted damage. The implementation of this system is expected to reduce operational costs and increase efficiency and machine life without having to carry out invasive measures in data collection. Thus, it is hoped that this approach will make a significant contribution to increasing industrial productivity through more efficient, noninvasive, and data-based preventive maintenance
