Abstract

Budaya organisasi berperan untuk menciptakan nilai dan kebiasaan yang menjadi landasan kesuksesan perusahaan. Keselarasan budaya organisasi pada setiap anggota akan membantu organisasi menemukan identitas dan kekuatannya dalam menghadapi perubahan, serta tertanam dan tersebar ke seluruh anggota akibat adanya interaksi antar individu. Kesenjangan nilai budaya antara individu dalam kelompok dapat dievaluasi menggunakan entropi budaya. Semakin tinggi nilai entropi maka semakin rendah tingkat pengetahuan anggota organisasi mengenai budaya organisasi, sehingga menimbulkan tingginya risiko yang harus dihadapi organisasi. Penelitian ini merupakan perkembangan penelitian sebelumnya di Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) dengan mempertimbangkan pengaruh kepemimpinan dalam proses diseminasi budaya. Proyeksi dilakukan dengan menggunakan parameter entropi dan polarisasi nilai budaya dengan mengevaluasi kondisi eksisting dan hasil diseminasi dengan 2 agen yakni pemimpin dan pegawai dengan diseminasi tanpa pengaruh pemimpin (IP=0), dengan pengaruh pemimpin yang bersifat statis (IP=static) dan dinamis (IP=dynamic). Perhitungan entropi budaya dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Shannon Entropy Algorithm dan simulasi diseminasi budaya menggunakan Modified Axelrod Model. Hasil analisis menunjukkan niai entropi budaya mampu mengalami penurunan dari kategori highly disordered menjadi highly ordered akibat diseminasi budaya. Selain itu, diketahui pula bahwa diseminasi pengaruh pemimpin mampu menghasilkan nilai entropi yang lebih rendah dalam waktu yang lebih singkat. Pada lingkup pusat di ITS cenderung lebih cepat mengalami penurunan entropi budaya dan sesuai dengan tata nilai budaya ITS saat menggunakan diseminasi budaya dengan pengaruh kepemimpinan yang dinamis. Sedangkan pada lingkup fakultas ITS, nilai entropi cenderung cepat menurun dan sesuai dengan tata nilai budaya ITS saat dilakukan diseminasi budaya dengan kepemimpinan yang statis. Selain mengaplikasikan tipe diseminasi budaya sesuai lingkup masing-masing, juga direkomendasikan penguatan nilai budaya ITS kepada masing-masing anggota dan identifikasi kelayakan penambahan nilai budaya pembelajar, profesionalisme, dan transparansi ke dalam tata nilai budaya ITS.

Organizational culture contributes to creating values and behaviors foundational to an organization's success. The alignment of cultural values across members enhances the organization's ability to define its identity and build resilience in the face of change. Organizational culture is embedded and disseminated among members through interpersonal interactions. The gap in cultural understanding between individuals and groups can be assessed through the concept of cultural entropy. A higher entropy value indicates a lower collective understanding of the organizational culture, leading to increased organizational risks. This study is an extension of previous research conducted at Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), with a particular focus on examining the influence of leadership in the process of cultural dissemination. The projection was carried out using entropy and cultural value polarization parameters by evaluating both the existing conditions and the outcomes of dissemination involving two agents that are leaders and employees. The dissemination scenarios that without leadership influence (IP = 0), with static influence (IP = static), and dynamic influence (IP = dynamic). Cultural entropy is calculated using the Shannon Entropy Algorithm and cultural dissemination is simulated using a Modified Axelrod Model. The analysis shows that cultural entropy decreased from a highly disordered to a highly ordered state due to cultural dissemination. Leadership influence further accelerated this process, resulting in lower entropy in a shorter time. At the scope of the center at ITS tends to decrease cultural entropy faster and in accordance with the ITS cultural values when using cultural dissemination with the influence of dynamic leadership. Whereas in the scope of the ITS faculty, entropy values tend to decrease quickly and in accordance with the ITS cultural values when cultural dissemination is carried out with static leadership. In addition to applying the type of cultural dissemination according to their respective scopes, it is also recommended to strengthen the value of ITS culture to each member and identify the feasibility of adding the cultural values of learning, professionalism, and transparency to the ITS cultural values system.
