Abstract

Motor induksi tiga fasa sering digunakan di industri sebagai penggerak listrik karena harganya yang relatif murah, konstruksinya yang kuat, dan minim perawatan. PT. Hikari Solusindo Sukses telah mengembangkan alat sortir kelapa dengan menggunakan motor induksi AC tiga fasa sebagai penggerak conveyor untuk sistem sortir, di mana motor tersebut dikontrol kecepatannya menggunakan VSD ATV312 Schneider Electric dengan input tegangan AC satu fasa dari PLN. Untuk mengatasi keterbatasan tersebut, penelitian ini merancang sistem kontrol motor induksi tiga fasa terprogram sebagai aktuator penggerak conveyor sortir kelapa PT. Hikari Solusindo Sukses. Sistem ini mengembangkan kontroller untuk mengatur kecepatan motor induksi 3 fasa berbasis metode modulasi sinyal Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) untuk mengatur frekuensi dan tegangan output tiga fasa, menggunakan input dari sumber DC tegangan tinggi sebesar 400 Volt. Sistem yang dirancang telah berhasil mengubah input DC High Voltage 330 VDC menjadi tegangan AC tiga fasa serta mampu mengatur kecepatan motor induksi tiga fasa. Hasil pengujian tanpa beban menunjukkan kecepatan motor berkisar antara 70,4 RPM hingga 2743 RPM dengan arus 0,081 A hingga 0,261 A dan tegangan 4,44 V hingga 239,9 V pada kondisi forward, serta 70,6 RPM hingga 2733 RPM dengan arus 0,079 A hingga 0,258 A dan tegangan 4,53 V hingga 223,67 V pada kondisi reverse. Pada pengujian dengan beban conveyor, kecepatan motor mencapai 14,8 RPM pada tegangan 59,55 V, arus 0,555 A, dan daya 0,032 kW pada kondisi putaran rendah, serta 132,1 RPM pada tegangan 210,53 V, arus 0,685 A, dan daya 0,202 kW pada kondisi putaran penuh. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menghasilkan sistem kontrol yang andal untuk menghasilkan output tiga fasa dari input DC tegangan tinggi, sehingga dapat membantu pengendalian motor induksi tiga fasa secara efisien pada aplikasi industri.

Three-phase induction motors are often used in industry as electric drives due to their relatively low price, robust construction, and minimal maintenance. PT Hikari Solusindo Sukses has developed a coconut sorting tool using a three-phase AC induction motor as a conveyor drive for the sorting system, where the motor is speed controlled using a Schneider Electric ATV312 VSD with a single-phase AC voltage input from PLN. To overcome these limitations, this research designs a programmable three-phase induction motor control system as an actuator for PT Hikari Solusindo Sukses's coconut sorting conveyor. This system develops a controller to regulate the speed of a three-phase induction motor based on the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) signal modulation method to regulate the frequency and voltage of the three-phase output, using input from a high-voltage DC source of 400 Volts. The designed system has successfully converted the 330 VDC DC High Voltage input into a three-phase AC voltage and is able to regulate the speed of a three-phase induction motor. The test results without load show that the motor speed ranges from 70.4 RPM to 2743 RPM with a current of 0.081 A to 0.261 A and a voltage of 4.44 V to 239.9 V in forward conditions, and 70.6 RPM to 2733 RPM with a current of 0.079 A to 0.258 A and a voltage of 4.53 V to 223.67 V in reverse conditions. In tests with conveyor loads, the motor speed reached 14.8 RPM at a voltage of 59.55 V, current of 0.555 A, and power of 0.032 kW at low rotation conditions, as well as 132.1 RPM at a voltage of 210.53 V, current of 0.685 A, and power of 0.202 kW at full rotation conditions. This research is expected to produce a reliable control system to produce a three-phase output from a high-voltage DC input, to help efficiently control three-phase induction motors in industrial applications.
