Abstract
Jalan di Indonesia mengalami kerusakan hingga 31%, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ketahanan perkerasan jalan lemah terhadap beban lalu lintas, pengaruh iklim dan cuaca yang diakibatkan oleh peningkatan jumlah penduduk yang disertai dengan peningkatan volume lalu lintas karena aktivitas semakin meningkat pula. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan limbah serat daun nanas dan serabut kelapa untuk campuran HRS-Base sebagai bahan tambah untuk mendukung perkuatan perkerasan jalan, efisiensi pemeliharaan jalan, dan kontribusi pada pengembangan infrastruktur berkelanjutan berbasis sumber daya alam.
Metode yang digunakan adalah uji marshall untuk menganalisis performa campuran dan penentuan Kadar Aspal Optimum. Tahapan pengujian meliputi uji material, blending aggregate, pembuatan benda uji konvensional, penentuan KAO, pembuatan benda uji modifikasi. Limbah ditambahkan ke dalam campuran aspal menggunakan metode kering dengan kadar variasi 0,4% serat daun nanas dan 0,1%, 0,3% , 0,5% , 0,7% , 0,9% serabut kelapa. Adapun kadar aspal yang digunakan adalah 6%, 6,5%, 7%, 7,5%, dan 8%.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai Kadar Aspal Optimum Konvensional berada pada kadar 7,25% dengan hasil sebagai berikut : Density 2,312 gr/cm3, VIM 3,825%, VMA 17,664%, VFA 78,349%, Stabilitas 918,314 kg, flow 3,18 mm, dan MQ 289,472 kg/mm. Dengan demikian dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa dengan penambahan limbah serat daun nanas dan serabut kelapa didapatkan hasil sebagai berikut : Density meningkat 0,39%, VIM menurun 9,80%, VMA meningkat 1,82%, VFA meningkat 2,25%%, Stabilitas meningkat 76,96%, flow meningkat 83,33%, dan MQ menurun 3,71%. Berdasarkan perhitungan dan standar harga yang mengacu pada Standar Harga Satuan Pemerintah Kabupaten Mojokerto Tahun Anggaran 2024, total Rencana Anggaran Biaya pekerjaan aspal konvensional sepanjang 1 km adalah Rp92.000.000. Sedangkan untuk pekerjaan aspal modifikasi dengan penambahan serat daun nanas dan serabut kelapa sepanjang 1 km adalah Rp418.000.000. Selisih perbedaan harga antara konvensional dan modifikasi adalah Rp326.000.000.

Roads in Indonesia have experienced damage reaching 31%, this indicates that pavement durability is weak against traffic loads, climate, and weather influences, which are caused by the increasing population accompanied by increased traffic volume due to growing activity. This study aims to determine the effect of using pineapple leaf fiber and coconut coir waste in HRS-Base mixtures as additive materials to support pavement reinforcement, road maintenance efficiency, and contribute to the development of sustainable infrastructure based on natural resources.
The method used is the marshall test to analyze the performance of the mixture and to determine the Optimum Asphalt Content. The testing stages include material testing, aggregate blending, preparation of conventional specimens, determination of OAC, and preparation of modified specimens. The waste fibers are added into the asphalt mixture using the dry method with variation contents of 0.4% pineapple leaf fiber and 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.5%, 0.7%, 0.9% coconut coir. The asphalt contents used are 6%, 6.5%, 7%, 7.5%, and 8%.
The results show that the Optimum Asphalt Content of the conventional mixture is 7.25% with the following results: Density 2.312 gr/cm³, VIM 3.825%, VMA 17.664%, VFA 78.349%, Stability 918.314 kg, Flow 3.18 mm, and MQ 289.472 kg/mm. Thus, it can be concluded that the addition of pineapple leaf fiber and coconut coir waste resulted in the following outcomes : Density increased by 0.39%, VIM decreased by 9.80%, VMA increased by 1.82%, VFA increased by 2.25%, Stability increased by 76.96%, Flow increased by 83.33%, and MQ decreased by 3.71%. Based on calculations and standard pricing referring to the 2024 Unit Price Standards of the Mojokerto Regency Government, the total Estimated Budget for conventional asphalt work along 1 km is IDR 92,000,000. Meanwhile, for modified asphalt work with the addition of pineapple leaf fiber and coconut coir along 1 km, the cost is IDR 418,000,000. The cost difference between conventional and modified asphalt is IDR 326,000,000.
