Abstract

This research addresses operational inefficiencies within a case study garment company stemming from a misalignment between its manual workflows and an underutilized Odoo ERP system. The primary objective was to develop, implement, and validate a comprehensive framework to integrate and optimize the company's manufacturing processes on the Odoo platform, thereby enhancing production planning, inventory management, and overall efficiency. The study followed a structured methodology that began with identifying the current process using SIPOC and RACI analyses, followed by BPMN process mapping and a gap analysis. Key gaps identified included a reactive planning model, a lack of formalized material planning, ambiguous role definitions, and no real-time data visibility. A new proposed framework was then designed and configured in Odoo, introducing proactive forecasting and a formal MRP function. The framework's core workflow was successfully validated through a limited-scope pilot test, which confirmed its functionality, achieved 100% data accuracy for the tested transaction, and received positive user feedback on its clarity and efficiency. This research concludes that the developed framework provides a functional and streamlined operational model, offering a validated, practical solution for the company and a reference for other manufacturing SMEs seeking to optimize their operations through Odoo ERP implementation.
