Abstract

Pelatihan manuver kapal merupakan aspek krusial dalam pendidikan maritim yang sering kali terkendala oleh biaya dan aksesibilitas. Teknologi berbasis website menawarkan solusi untuk mengembangkan simulator yang efektif dan mudah dijangkau. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sebuah perangkat lunak simulator kendali manuver kapal berbasis website sebagai media pembelajaran interaktif. Metode pengembangan mencakup implementasi model matematis untuk manuver standar, yaitu Turning Circle 35° dan Zig-Zag 20°/20°. Analisis akurasi dilakukan dengan membandingkan hasil simulasi terhadap data eksperimen, sementara evaluasi pengalaman pengguna (UI/UX) dan efektivitas fungsional diukur melalui kuesioner kepada taruna pelayaran. Hasil perhitungan error menunjukkan bahwa untuk simulasi turning didapat nilai RMS sebesar 0.418 dan RMSE sebesar 3.29%. Sedangkan pada Simulasi Zig-zag didapat nilai RMS sebesar 6.6336 dan RMSE sebesar 1.07%. Selain itu, hasil survei pengguna menunjukkan respons yang sangat positif dengan skor rata-rata 4.20 dari 5 untuk aspek UI/UX dan 4.06 dari 5 untuk efektivitas fungsional, dengan keunggulan utama pada realisme dan kemudahan penggunaan. Dengan demikian, simulator berbasis website ini terbukti valid dan efektif untuk diimplementasikan sebagai alat bantu pembelajaran yang andal guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan keterampilan manuver kapal.

Ship maneuvering training is a crucial aspect of maritime education that is often constrained by cost and accessibility. Web-based technology offers a solution for developing effective and easily accessible simulators. This research aims to develop a website-based ship maneuvering control simulator software as an interactive learning medium. The development method includes the implementation of mathematical models for standard maneuvers, namely the 35° Turning Circle and the 20°/20° Zig-Zag test. Accuracy analysis was conducted by comparing the simulation results with experimental data, while the evaluation of user experience (UI/UX) and functional effectiveness was measured through questionnaires distributed to maritime cadets. The error calculation results show that the turning simulation obtained an RMS value of 0.418 and an RMSE of 3.29%. Meanwhile, the Zig-zag simulation obtained an RMS value of 6.6336 and an RMSE of 1.07%. Furthermore, the user survey results indicate a very positive response, with an average score of 4.20 out of 5 for the UI/UX aspect and 4.06 out of 5 for functional effectiveness, with key advantages in realism and ease of use. Thus, this web-based simulator is proven to be valid and effective for implementation as a reliable learning tool to enhance the understanding and skills of ship maneuvering.
