Abstract
Lobster air tawar red claw (Cherax quadricarinatus) merupakan hewan air dengan nilai ekonomi tinggi. Keberhasilan teknis pembenihan menjadi salah satu peran penting, yakni mempercepat pertumbuhan larva lobster air tawar dengan pemberian lampu LED dengan spektrum tertentu dan durasi paparan cahaya (fotoperiode) yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh fotoperiode lampu hortisolis terhadap sintasan, morfometri, dan morfologi larva post-hatching C. quadricarinatus. Tiga perlakuan fotoperiode yang digunakan, yakni Hrt1 (8L:16D = 8 Light : 16 Dark), Hrt2 (12L:12D = 12 Light : 12 Dark), dan Tanpa lampu selama 14 hari. Parameter yang digunakan ialah tingkat sintasan, pertambahan panjang tubuh total (PT), rasio tubuh, analisis korelasi panjang tubuh total (PT) dengan panjang karapas (PKr), panjang abdomen (PA), dan panjang caudal (PCd), serta abnormalitas morfologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan perlakuan Hrt2 menunjukkan tingkat sintasan tertinggi sebesar 53,3%. Perlakuan Hrt2 secara statistik menunjukkan koefisien korelasi yang sangat kuat dan signifikan antara panjang tubuh dengan panjang karapas (r = 0,9). Rasio tubuh karapas perlakuan Hrt2 lebih rendah dari perlakuan tanpa lampu meskipun karapas tumbuh seiring dengan panjang tubuh. Abnormalitas morfologi tertinggi ditemukan pada perlakuan tanpa lampu, terutama pada bagian pereiopod dan antennae. Berdasarkan hasil yang didapatkan, perlakuan Hrt2 dengan fotoperiode 12L:12D dapat mendukung sintasan, pertumbuhan morfometri yang seimbang, dan menekan tingkat abnormalitas, sehingga dapat berpotensi diterapkan dalam teknis pembenihan untuk budidaya C. quadricarinatus.

Red claw crayfish lobster (Cherax quadricarinatus) is an aquatic species with high economic value. Technical success in hatchery practices plays a crucial role, particularly in accelerating larval growth through the use of LED lighting with specific spectra and appropriate photoperiod exposure. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the effects of the photoperiod of hortisolis lighting on the survival rate, morphometrics, and morphology of post-hatching larvae of C. quadricarinatus. Three photoperiod treatments were used: Hrt1 (8L:16D = 8 hours Light : 16 hours Dark), Hrt2 (12L:12D = 12 hours Light : 12 hours Dark), and a no-light treatment for 14 days. The measured parameters included survival rate, total body length increment (PT), body ratio, correlation analysis between total body length (PT) and carapace length (PKr), abdomen length (PA), and caudal length (PCd), as well as morphological abnormalities. The results showed that the Hrt2 treatment yielded the highest survival rate at 53.3%. Statistically, Hrt2 also demonstrated a very strong and significant correlation between total body length and carapace length (r = 0.9). The body ratio of the carapace in the Hrt2 treatment was lower than that of the no-light treatment, although carapace growth was in line with total body length. The highest morphological abnormalities were found in the no-light treatment, particularly in the pereiopods and antennae. Based on these findings, the Hrt2 treatment with a 12L:12D photoperiod supports higher survival, balanced morphometric growth, and reduced abnormality rates, making it a potential approach for improving hatchery practices in C. quadricarinatus aquaculture.
