Abstract

Pertumbuhan pesat startup di Indonesia mencerminkan meningkatnya produktivitas masyarakat di era digital, namun juga memunculkan tantangan baru seperti fenomena hustle culture, dimana pekerja terdorong untuk terus bekerja tanpa henti. Seiring dengan berkembangnya konsep Work From Anywhere (WFA), kafe menjadi pilihan ruang kerja alternatif yang nyaman.

The rapid growth of startups in Indonesia reflects the increasing productivity of people in the digital era, but it also raises new challenges such as the phenomenon of hustle culture, where workers are encouraged to continue working non-stop. Along with the development of the Work From Anywhere (WFA) concept, cafes have become a convenient alternative workspace option. However, the furniture in some cafes can be optimized to support such activities. This research aims to design café tables and chairs that are ergonomic and flexible, so that they can be used for work and relaxation. The methods used include questionnaire surveys, field observations, and literature studies. The design results in furniture with backrests, comfortable stands, hooks for bags, plant elements that can be adjusted to needs and access to electrical power that supports comfort and work efficiency in the café environment.
