Abstract
A carbonate reservoir in the JTK field is planned for development. The structure of the JTK field was discovered in 2001 and started production in 2004. As of 2020, a total of 37 wells have been drilled, with 29 production wells, 1 injection well, and 3 conversion injection wells. The field has a substantial reserve with a recovery factor (RF) of 40.4%. Given this recovery factor, the field still shows significant potential for further development, particularly through the identification of upside potential zones to enhance production efficiency. This can be achieved by modeling total porosity using Pre-Stack Inversion and Multi-Attribute Seismic methods. The sensitivity analysis of elastic parameters showed no sensitivity to lithoclass, indicating that elastic parameters are less effective in identifying fluids. Therefore, sensitivity analysis was conducted on the P-impedance, S-impedance, and Density parameters relative to porosity. The analysis showed that the carbonate porous area has a P-impedance value of < 11,000 (m/s)(g/cc), S-impedance < 5,900 (m/s)(g/cc), and Density < 2.45 g/cc. The carbonate build-up area falls within the carbonate porous range with porosity values of 10-30%. The total porosity distribution map identified three high-potential areas: potential 1 in the northwest, and potential 2 and potential 3 in the northeast. Results integration was also carried out both quantitatively using a blindwell test, which showed a 50% correlation and qualitatively using a quick look triple combo log. Porosity in the northern part is higher than in the southern part. Based on the analysis, two development wells are proposed for potential 1 and potential 3 areas, with porosity values of 27-30% and oil-water contact (OWC)at 1780 TWT.
