Abstract
Fenomena pertumbuhan kawasan perumahan tipe klaster di daerah perkotaan menunjukkan tren peningkatan permintaan terhadap perabot yang efisien, fleksibel, dan sesuai kebutuhan ruang terbatas. Compact house cluster sebagai bentuk hunian kompak menuntut solusi desain interior yang mampu beradaptasi terhadap berbagai aktivitas penggunanya. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan ruang, kurangnya fleksibilitas perabot, serta kebutuhan gaya hidup dinamis menjadikan desain furnitur konvensional kurang optimal. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang sofa multifungsi adaptif yang dirancang secara modular untuk mendukung efisiensi ruang, fleksibilitas penggunaan, serta integrasi fitur pintar untuk enghuni kota yang cerdas dan penuh perhatian. Pendekatan perancangan mencakup analisis kebutuhan pengguna, optimalisasi fungsi ruang tamu, serta penerapan fitur seperti hidden storage, port listrik/USB, dan modul meja serta kursi tambahan. Desain sofa yang dihasilkan mengakomodasi berbagai aktivitas penghuni, mulai dari bersantai, bekerja dengan gadget, hingga menerima tamu, dengan tetap mempertahankan estetika sleek dan prinsip multifungsi yang space-saving. Konsep adaptif diwujudkan dalam konfigurasi modular yang dapat disusun ulang sesuai kebutuhan, memungkinkan penggantian atau penyesuaian fungsi tanpa mengganti keseluruhan produk. Desain ini memberikan solusi inovatif yang menggabungkan aspek fungsionalitas, efisiensi ruang, estetika, dan keberlanjutan produk untuk mendukung gaya hidup penghuni rumah kompak masa kini.

The growing development of cluster-type housing in urban areas reflects an increasing demand for efficient, flexible furniture tailored to limited living spaces. The compact house cluster, as a form of compact housing, requires interior design solutions that can adapt to various user activities. However, challenges such as limited space, lack of furniture flexibility, and the need to support a dynamic lifestyle make conventional furniture designs less optimal. This study aims to design an adaptive multifunctional sofa with a modular system to enhance space efficiency, usage flexibility, and integration of smart features. The design approach includes user needs analysis, optimization of living room functionality, and the implementation of features such as hidden storage, electrical/USB ports, and additional modular table and seating components. The resulting sofa design accommodates various activities—such as relaxing, working with gadgets, and receiving guests while maintaining a sleek aesthetic and multifunctional, space-saving principles. The adaptive concept is realized through a modular configuration that can be rearranged as needed, allowing component replacement or functional adjustments without replacing the entire product. This design offers an innovative solution that combines functionality, spatial efficiency, aesthetics, and product sustainability to support the modern lifestyle of compact house residents.
