Abstract
Pengurangan muda atau pemborosan merupakan tujuan dari Toyota Production System atau juga dikenal sebagai Lean. Sejak diperkenalkan secara global di 1980an, banyak perusahaan telah menerapkan Lean. Untuk membantu penerapan Lean diperlukan alat yang dapat membantu perusahaan dalam melakukan analisis dan memformulasikan langkah eliminasi muda. Penelitian-penelitian terdahulu telah menawarkan beberapa alat bantu untuk menganalisis dan menangani pemborosan. Namun setiap alat bantu tersebut memiliki cakupan analisis dan tingkat kesulitan penggunaan yang berbeda-beda. Untuk dapat membantu perusahaan dalam penerapan Lean maka diperlukan sebuah alat bantu yang komprehensif dan mudah digunakan. Penelitian ini mengusulkan integrasi alat bantu Gemba Shikumi dan Lean Matrix yang dapat mencakup keseluruhan tahap analisis yaitu pemetaan waste dan akar penyebab waste, keterkaitan antar waste, penentuan waste kritis dan penentuan prioritas penanganan waste. Alat bantu terintegrasi ini lebih mudah digunakan bahkan untuk perusahaan yang masih memiliki pengetahuan Lean yang terbatas dan juga dapat diterapkan untuk kasus operasi manufaktur dan jasa. Alat bantu ini kemudian diterapkan di sebuah studi kasus pada industri manufaktur. Berdasarkan umpan balik dari perusahaan, alat bantu analisis dan penanganan pemborosan dapat dengan mudah digunakan dan membantu perusahaan dalam penerapan awal Lean Manufacturing.

Reduction of muda or waste is the goal of the Toyota Production System or also known as Lean. Since its global introduction in the 1980s, many companies have implemented Lean. To help implement Lean, tools are needed that can help companies analyze and formulate easy elimination steps. Previous studies have offered several tools for analyzing and addressing waste. However, each tool has a different scope of analysis and level of difficulty of use. To be able to help companies in implementing Lean, a comprehensive and easy-to-use tool is needed. This study proposes the integration of Gemba Shikumi and Lean Matrix tools that can cover all stages of analysis, namely waste mapping and root causes of waste, interrelationships between waste, determination of critical waste and determination of waste handling priorities. This integrated tool is easier to use even for companies with limited Lean knowledge and can also be applied to manufacturing and service operations cases. This tool was then applied in a case study in the manufacturing industry. Based on feedback from the company, the waste analysis and handling tool is easy to use and helps the company in the initial implementation of Lean Manufacturing.
