Abstract

Desain Tas Multiwear Menggunakan Visual Cyanotype Daun Skeleton mengangkat eksplorasi teknik cetak cyanotype pada kain berbahan serat alami dengan objek utama daun skeleton. Daun skeleton dipilih karena strukturnya yang transparan dan detail, mampu menghasilkan motif visual berkarakter alami dan artistik. Teknik cyanotype menawarkan metode pencetakan yang ramah lingkungan serta estetika khas melalui warna biru Prussian blue. Permasalahan yang diangkat meliputi keterbatasan jenis kain yang mampu menampilkan detail daun secara optimal, kurangnya teknik cetak artistik yang cukup aman untuk lingkungan dalam fashion, serta minimnya produk tas yang fleksibel dan dapat digunakan sesuai kebutuhan gaya hidup generasi muda. Tujuan utama perancangan yaitu menciptakan produk fashion yang unik, fungsional, dan bernilai keberlanjutan, melalui penggabungan motif alami dan desain tas yang dapat dikenakan dalam berbagai bentuk seperti. Eksperimen dilakukan terhadap beberapa jenis kain berserat alam, waktu eksposur UV, dan variasi daun skeleton untuk menemukan kombinasi visual terbaik. Hasil akhirnya berupa prototipe tas multiwear dengan motif cyanotype yang mampu menampilkan detail daun secara tajam, sekaligus menawarkan fleksibilitas dan nilai estetika tinggi. Produk ini menunjukkan potensi kuat dalam menjawab kebutuhan konsumen muda yang mengutamakan keunikan, fungsi, serta kesadaran terhadap isu lingkungan.

The Multiwear Bag Design Featuring Cyanotype Visual of Skeleton Leaves explores the application of cyanotype printing on natural fiber fabrics using skeleton leaves as the main visual object. Skeleton leaves are chosen for their transparent and detailed structure, which creates a naturally artistic motif. Cyanotype offers an eco-friendly printing method with a distinctive aesthetic through its iconic Prussian blue color.The main issues addressed include the limited types of fabric that can optimally capture fine leaf details, the lack of environmentally safe artistic printing methods in fashion, and the scarcity of flexible bag designs that suit the dynamic lifestyles of today’s youth. The goal centers on creating a fashion product that is unique, functional, and sustainable combining natural motifs with versatile bag forms that can be worn in various styles.Experiments were conducted on several natural fiber fabrics, UV exposure durations, and different skeleton leaf variations to discover the most visually effective combination. The final outcome is a multiwear bag prototype featuring cyanotype motifs that display sharp leaf details while offering flexibility and strong aesthetic value. This product demonstrates strong potential to meet the preferences of young consumers who prioritize originality, function, and environmental awareness.
