Abstract

Stabilitas lereng merupakan aspek krusial dalam pembangunan infrastruktur jalan tol, terutama pada area timbunan overpass dengan kondisi tanah yang kompleks. Salah satu kasus nyata terjadi di Overpass Kedungmlati 2 Tol Mojokerto–Kertosono, di mana telah terjadi kelongsoran yang merusak struktur penahan tanah dan membahayakan area sekitar. Berdasarkan data BMKG, curah hujan di Kabupaten Jombang pada bulan Desember 2024 tercatat sangat tinggi, yaitu mencapai 450 mm, meningkat drastis dibanding bulan sebelumnya. Hal ini menyebabkan tingginya infiltrasi air ke dalam tanah yang memicu terjadinya kelongsoran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan mengevaluasi metode perkuatan lereng menggunakan gabion yang dilapisi shotcrete. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak Plaxis 2D untuk mengevaluasi faktor keamanan terhadap kelongsoran, serta perhitungan manual untuk menilai stabilitas terhadap guling, geser, dan daya dukung tanah. Berdasarkan kondisi eksisting, nilai safety factor (SF) kelongsoran sebesar 1,399, yang berada di bawah ambang batas aman menurut SNI 8460:2017 (SF ≥ 1,5). Simulasi tambahan dilakukan dengan asumsi muka air tanah setinggi 6 meter dari tanah dasar, dan hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa tanah tidak mampu menahan beban yang ada, ditandai dengan kegagalan proses analisis. Setelah dilakukan pengeprasan dan perkuatan menggunakan metode gabion, nilai SF meningkat menjadi 1,478, dan mencapai 1,503 setelah ditambahkan pelapisan shotcrete. Pada kondisi gempa dengan metode pseudostatik, diperoleh SF sebesar 3,061 (≥ 1,1). Perhitungan manual menunjukkan nilai SF terhadap guling sebesar 19,38, geser sebesar 6,2, dan daya dukung sebesar 8,43, yang semuanya melebihi batas minimum. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, metode perkuatan gabion yang dilapisi shotcrete terbukti mampu meningkatkan kestabilan lereng dan direkomendasikan sebagai solusi pada lokasi dengan kondisi serupa. Adapun estimasi biaya pelaksanaan perkuatan ini adalah sebesar Rp743.950.000,00.

Slope stability is a crucial aspect in the construction of toll road infrastructure, especially in embankment areas of overpasses with complex soil conditions. One real case occurred at the Kedungmlati 2 Overpass of the Mojokerto–Kertosono Toll Road, where a
landslide damaged the retaining structure and posed risks to the surrounding area. According to BMKG data, rainfall in Jombang Regency in December 2024 reached 450 mm, a significant increase compared to the previous month. This high rainfall led to increased water infiltration into the soil, triggering the landslide event. This study aims to analyze and evaluate slope reinforcement using gabion structures covered with shotcrete. The analysis was conducted using Plaxis 2D software to determine the safety factor (SF) against slope failure, and manual calculations were carried out to assess stability against overturning, sliding, and bearing capacity. Based on the existing condition, the SF for slope stability was 1.399, which is below the minimum safety requirement set by SNI 8460:2017 (SF ≥ 1.5). An additional simulation with a groundwater table set at 6 meters above the ground base showed that the soil could not withstand the imposed load, as indicated by a failed analysis process. After slope trimming and reinforcement using gabion, the SF increased to 1.478 and further to 1.503 with the application of shotcrete. Under seismic conditions using the pseudostatic method, the SF reached 3.061 (≥ 1.1). Manual calculations showed an overturning SF of 19.38, sliding SF of 6.2, and bearing capacity SF of 8.43, all exceeding the required minimum values. Based on these findings, the gabion reinforcement method combined with shotcrete effectively improves slope stability and is recommended for similar site conditions. The estimated cost for this reinforcement is Rp743,950,000.00.
