Abstract
Pelabuhan Kendal memiliki peran strategis dalam mendukung distribusi barang dan jasa di wilayah Jawa Tengah. Seiring adanya rencana penambahan kapasitas kapal tongkang menjadi 10.000 DWT, dermaga eksisting yang hanya berkapasitas 5.000 DWT dengan panjang dermaga 58 m dan lebar dermaga 26 m perlu dievaluasi serta berpotensi mengalami kelebihan beban yang dapat mengurangi kinerja dan keselamatan operasional pelabuhan. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi, dermaga eksisting tidak mampu menahan beban tambahan dari kapal tongkang yang lebih besar tersebut.
Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, dilakukan perencanaan alternatif desain struktur dermaga dengan metode beton pracetak. Metode ini dipilih karena memiliki keunggulan dalam kecepatan konstruksi, mutu material yang lebih terjamin, serta kemudahan dalam perakitan elemen struktural di lapangan. Proses perencanaan meliputi pengumpulan data sekunder seperti data bathymetri, tanah, arus, dan angin, dilanjutkan dengan analisis pembebanan, evaluasi struktur eksisting, perhitungan struktur atas dan bawah, serta penyusunan gambar perencanaan dan rencana anggaran biaya.
Hasil perencanaan menunjukkan bahwa struktur dermaga baru dengan elemen beton pracetak, seperti pelat, balok memanjang, balok melintang, dan pilecap, mampu menahan beban dari kapal tongkang 10.000 DWT sesuai dengan standar perencanaan yang berlaku. Dengan luaran elemen pracetak seperti plat ukuran 1775 x 3550 mm, balok pracetak BP1 & BP2 dengan ukuran 450 x 700 mm panjang 3550 mm, dan pilecap pracetak dengan ukuran 1500 x 1500 mm dengan tebal 1400 mm. Perencanaan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kapasitas dan efisiensi operasional Pelabuhan Kendal tanpa mengabaikan aspek keselamatan struktur.

The Port of Kendal plays a strategic role in supporting the distribution of goods and services in the Central Java region. With plans to increase the capacity of barges to 10,000 DWT, the existing wharf, which has a capacity of only 5,000 DWT with a length of 58 m and a width of 26 m, needs to be evaluated and is at risk of being overloaded, which could reduce the port's operational performance and safety. Based on the evaluation results, the existing jetty is unable to withstand the additional load from the larger barges.
To overcome these problems, alternative planning of pier structure design using precast concrete method was carried out. This method was chosen because it has advantages in construction speed, more guaranteed material quality, and ease of assembling structural elements in the field. The planning process includes collecting secondary data such as bathymetry, soil, current, and wind data, followed by load analysis, evaluation of existing structures, calculation of upper and lower structures, and preparation of planning drawings and budget plans.
The planning results show that the new pier structure with precast concrete elements, such as slabs, longitudinal beams, transverse beams, and pile caps, is capable of withstanding the load from a 10,000 DWT barge in accordance with applicable planning standards. The precast elements include slabs measuring 1775 x 3550 mm, precast beams BP1 & BP2 measuring 450 x 700 mm in length 3550 mm, and precast pile caps measuring 1500 x 1500 mm with a thickness of 1400 mm. This design is expected to enhance the capacity and operational efficiency of Kendal Port without compromising structural safety.
