Abstract

=================================================================
Infrastructure development, especially toll roads, is an important priority in supporting connectivity between regions. One of the strategic projects is the construction of the Solo - D.I.Yogyakarta - NYIA Kulonprogo Section 1 Package 1.2 Road, where Box culvert work is a vital component in the drainage structure. This research aims to analyze the time and cost comparison between two construction methods used in the manufacture of Box culvert , namely cast in situ and Precast methods. The cast in situ method involves casting concrete directly at the project site, which provides design flexibility but requires more time and complex logistical coordination. In contrast, the Precast method uses concrete elements that are manufactured in a factory and installed at the project site, which allows savings in implementation time, although it requires higher transportation and logistics costs. The results of the comparative analysis of the Precast method are more expensive than cast in situ in terms of cost. In terms of time, Precast is faster than cast in situ. With the need for implementation time of 541 days with a cost of Rp2.627.048.264.265 for the Precast method, while cast in situ requires an implementation time of 597 days with a cost of Rp2.594.561.783.906. while the difference in cost of cast in situ and Precast is Rp32.486.480.359 and the difference in implementation time is 56 days. So the implementation of Precast is very possible to be carried out according to the geographical conditions of the study location.
