Abstract

Bendungan merupakan infrastruktur kritis yang memberikan manfaat strategis bagi masyarakat, namun juga menghadirkan risiko signifikan akibat potensi kegagalan struktural. Penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem pemantauan ketinggian air bendungan secara real-time menggunakan sensor ultrasonik dan strain gauge, yang diintegrasikan dengan komunikasi VHF dan mikrokontroler ESP-32, untuk memberikan mekanisme peringatan dini guna meminimalisir potensi kerugian jiwa dan materi. Sistem yang dirancang difokuskan pada bendungan dengan diameter tidak lebih dari 10 km dan berlokasi di area tanpa akses internet langsung, dengan tujuan utama mengembangkan solusi pemantauan lokal yang dapat meningkatkan keamanan infrastruktur dan mendukung upaya mitigasi bencana bagi Masyarakat sekitar. Melalui teknologi ini, penelitian berupaya memberikan solusi inovatif dalam mengatasi tantangan keamanan dan risiko struktural pada infrastruktur bendungan

Dams are critical infrastructure that provide strategic benefits to society, yet they also present significant risks due to potential structural failures. This research proposes a real-time dam water level monitoring system using ultrasonic and strain gauge sensors, integrated with VHF communication and ESP-32 microcontroller, to provide an early warning mechanism aimed at minimizing potential loss of life and property damage. The designed system focuses on dams with a diameter not exceeding 10 km and located in areas without direct internet access, with the primary goal of developing a local monitoring solution that can enhance infrastructure safety and support disaster mitigation efforts for surrounding communities. Through this technology, the research seeks to provide an innovative solution to address safety challenges and structural risks in dam infrastructure
