Abstract

Kerja praktik ini dilaksanakan di Direktorat Kerjasama dan Pengelolaan Usaha (DKPU) ITS dengan fokus pada refactor tampilan dan konten website institusi. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memperbarui informasi, memperbaiki halaman yang tidak dapat diakses, serta menyusun ulang navigasi agar lebih mudah digunakan. Proses refactor dilakukan menggunakan WordPress sebagai CMS utama, serta penyesuaian struktur HTML dan CSS untuk meningkatkan konsistensi tampilan. Sebagai bagian dari pengembangan, website juga disusun dalam dua versi bahasa, yaitu Bahasa Indonesia dan Bahasa Inggris, untuk mendukung komunikasi dengan mitra internasional. Hasil akhir menunjukkan perubahan terhadap beberapa halaman yang sebelumnya tidak dapat diakses serta penambahan informasi terbaru sesuai dengan kebutuhan DKPU ITS sehingga dapat meningkatkan keterbacaan, aksesibilitas, dan responsivitas website. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui uji tampilan lintas perangkat dan pengujian navigasi.

This internship was carried out at the Directorate of Cooperation and Business Management (DKPU) ITS with a focus on refactoring the appearance and content of the institution's website. The purpose of this activity was to update information, fix inaccessible pages, and reorganize navigation to make it easier to use. The refactoring process was carried out using WordPress as the main CMS, as well as adjusting the HTML and CSS structure to improve appearance consistency. As part of the development, the website was also created in two language versions, Indonesian and English, to support communication with international partners. The final results showed improvements to previously inaccessible pages and the addition of updated information in line with DKPU ITS's needs, thereby enhancing the website's readability, accessibility, and responsiveness. Evaluation was conducted through cross-device display testing and navigation testing
