Abstract

Proyek ini berfokus pada perancangan resor di lahan berkontur, Bawean, yang terinspirasi oleh prinsip-prinsip kontekstualisme dan keberlanjutan. Terletak di dekat Danau Kastoba, resor ini menjembatani kesenjangan antara pariwisata dan keterlibatan masyarakat, mendorong pertukaran budaya dan pertumbuhan ekonomi. Desainnya yang menghormati lanskap alam, melestarikan keanekaragaman hayati daerah melalui perubahan lahan minimal dan teknik konstruksi ramah lingkungan. Proyek ini mengintegrasikan ruang multifungsi yang disesuaikan dengan dinamika sosial, menawarkan area publik untuk interaksi komunitas dan fasilitas pribadi bagi wisatawan yang mencari tempat untuk beristirahat dengan tenang. Mengambil inspirasi dari arsitektur lokal dan memanfaatkan bahan-bahan asli, supaya selaras dengan lingkungannya sekaligus menampilkan identitas budaya Bawean. Dengan mengatasi aset dan kendala unik situs, termasuk keindahan pemandangan dan kepekaan lingkungannya, desainnya memprioritaskan pembangunan berkelanjutan, inklusivitas budaya, dan keseimbangan antara modernitas dan tradisi. Pendekatan ini memastikan pengalaman yang kaya bagi pengunjung dan masyarakat setempat sambil melestarikan warisan alam dan budaya pulau ini.

The project focuses on designing a resort on contoured land, Bawean, inspired by the principles of contextualism and sustainability. Located near Lake Kastoba, the resort bridges the gap between tourism and community engagement, fostering cultural exchange and economic growth. Its design respects the natural landscape, preserving the biodiversity of the area through minimal land changes and environmentally friendly construction techniques. The project integrates multifunctional spaces adapted to social dynamics, offering public areas for community interaction and private facilities for tourists looking for a place to rest in peace. Taking inspiration from local architecture and utilizing original materials, to be in harmony with the environment while displaying the Bawean cultural identity. By addressing the site's unique assets and constraints, including the beauty of its landscape and environmental sensitivity, its design prioritizes sustainable development, cultural inclusivity, and a balance between modernity and tradition. This approach ensures a rich experience for visitors and the local community while preserving the island's natural and cultural heritage.
