Abstract

Hotel merupakan salah satu fasilitas dalam sektor pariwisata yang yang berperan sebagai sarana untuk menginap. Salah satu peran penting untuk meningkatkan performa atau value hotel adalah dengan memberikan pengalaman yang berkesan bagi pengunjungnya. Hal tersebut dapat terjawab dengan berbagai cara, termasuk dengan penerapan konsep sensory aesthetic pada interior hotel. Tidak hanya memberikan visualisasi menarik dan interaktif, penerapan konsep ini juga merespon positif indra pengunjung yang meningkatkan impresi, pengalaman, dan akhirnya loyalitas pengunjung. Favehotel Rungkut Surabaya merupakan salah satu hotel budget berbintang 3 di Surabaya yang memerlukan penerapan konsep ini pada interior hotelnya untuk memberikan kenyamanan, kepuasan, dan pengalaman berkesan bagi para pengunjung yang datang. Hal ini akan menciptakan pengalaman serta hospitality yang baik dan berkesan untuk memenuhi kepuasan pengunjung, terutama melalui aktivitas di lobi dan restoran yang merupakan fasilitas potensial dari Favehotel Rungkut. Maka dari itu, penerapan konsep sensory aesthetic pada desain interior lobi dan restoran Favehotel Rungkut akan meningkatkan impresi, pengalaman, dan loyalitas pengunjungnya.

Hotel is one of the essential facilities within the tourism sector, functioning as accommodation providers for travelers. One of the key factors in enhancing a hotel's performance and value is by offering memorable and meaningful guest experiences. This objective can be achieved through various strategies, including the application of sensory aesthetic concepts in hotel interior design. Beyond providing attractive and interactive visual appeal, this concept also positively engages the guests' senses, thereby enhancing their impressions, overall experience, and ultimately fostering visitor loyalty. Favehotel Rungkut Surabaya, a three-star budget hotel in Surabaya, requires the implementation of this concept in its interior design to deliver comfort, satisfaction, and memorable experiences for its guests. Such an approach will create a positive and lasting hospitality experience that fulfills guest expectations, particularly through activities in the hotel’s lobby and restaurant, which are among the most significant facilities at Favehotel Rungkut. Therefore, the integration of sensory aesthetic principles in the interior design of the hotel’s lobby and restaurant is essential to elevate guest impressions, enrich their experiences, and enhance their loyalty.
