Abstract
Kegiatan magang merupakan bagian integral dari kurikulum Departemen Statistika Bisnis, Fakultas Vokasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), untuk mempersiapkan mahasiswa menghadapi dunia kerja melalui pengalaman langsung di industri. Penulis melaksanakan magang di PT Dowell Anadrill Schlumberger (SLB), perusahaan multinasional penyedia layanan teknologi untuk industri minyak dan gas. Selama empat bulan penempatan di divisi Technology Lifecycle Management – Well Construction – Drilling & Measurement, penulis terlibat dalam berbagai tugas operasional dan pengembangan sistem digital. Proyek utama yang dilaksanakan meliputi: (1) Battery Lithium Inventory Monitoring System berbasis Microsoft Forms, Excel, dan Power BI untuk mengelola stok dan kondisi baterai; (2) Surface Planning & Tool Status untuk memantau status peralatan secara sistematis; dan (3) Field Material Request & Consumable Inventory berbasis Microsoft PowerApps sebagai sistem permintaan material digital. Pengalaman ini memperkuat keterampilan teknis (data analysis, visualisasi, pengembangan aplikasi) dan soft skills (komunikasi profesional, kolaborasi lintas tim). Hasil dari kegiatan magang ini tidak hanya memberikan manfaat bagi mahasiswa, tetapi juga berkontribusi pada efisiensi operasional perusahaan dan relevansi kurikulum akademik dengan kebutuhan industri energi. Magang ini menjadi fondasi penting dalam pengembangan profesional di masa depan.

The internship program is an integral part of the curriculum in the Department of Business Statistics, Vocational Faculty, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), aimed at preparing students for the professional world through real industry experience. The author completed a four-month internship at PT Dowell Anadrill Schlumberger (SLB), a multinational company providing technological services for the oil and gas industry. Assigned to the Technology Lifecycle Management – Well Construction – Drilling & Measurement division, the author participated in operational tasks and digital system development. Key projects included: (1) Battery Lithium Inventory Monitoring System using Microsoft Forms, Excel, and Power BI to manage battery stock and condition; (2) Surface Planning & Tool Status system for monitoring tool readiness and condition; and (3) Field Material Request & Consumable Inventory, a Microsoft PowerApps-based platform for digital material requests. This experience enhanced both technical skills (data analysis, visualization, and app development) and soft skills (professional communication and cross-functional collaboration). The internship provided benefits not only to the student but also contributed to operational efficiency and alignment of academic learning with industry needs. This experience serves as a critical foundation for future professional development in industrial technology, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation.
