Abstract

Pengembangan energi terbarukan menjadi langkah strategis dalam menjawab tantangan ketergantungan terhadap energi fosil dan upaya pencapaian target baruan energi nasional. Tenaga mikrohidro yang bersumber dari aliran dan terjunan air menjadi salah satu potensi energi terbarukan yang ada di Indonesia. Kabupaten Tuban memiliki potensi sumber daya air melalui Sungai Guwoterus yang dimanfaatkan untuk irigasi dan wisata air terjun Bendung Nglirip. Proyek akhir ini bertujuan untuk merencanakan pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Mikro Hidro (PLTMH) di Bendung Nglirip sebagai alternatif penyedia energi listrik berkelanjutan, khususnya bagi masyarakat sekitar yang masih membutuhkan listrik.
Proyek akhir dilakukan melalui analisis ketersediaan debit Sungai Guwoterus, perhitungan daya dan energi listrik yang dihasilkan, desain sistem PLTMH, serta evaluasi kelayakan ekonominya. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa debit yang dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai debit operasional turbin sebesar 0,087 m3/detik menggunakan turbin Kaplan. Daya yang dihasilkan mencapai 7,19 kW dengan produksi energi tahunan sebesar 62.993,17 kWh. Desain teknis PLTMH mencakup dimensi intake, saluran pembawa, bak pengendap-penenang, penstock, surge tank, rumah pembangkit, dan saluran pembuang.
Dari hasil analisis kelayakan ekonomi, nilai biaya modal sebesar Rp 1.167.382.869,99 dinilai layak dengan indikator kelayakan sebagai berikut: Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) sebesar 1,008; Net Present Value (NPV) sebesar Rp 12.712.437,54; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) melampaui suku bunga 5,5%; dan Payback Periode selama 16,1 tahun. Dengan demikian, pembangunan PLTMH di Bendung Nglirip layak untuk dilaksanakan dan berpotensi menjadi solusi penyediaan energi listrik berkelanjutan bagi masyarakat.

Renewable energy development is a strategic step in responding to the challenges of dependence on fossil energy and efforts to achieve national energy targets. Micro-hydro power sourced from water flows and waterfalls is one of Indonesia's renewable energy potentials. Tuban Regency has potential water resources through the Guwoterus River which is used for irrigation and Nglirirp Dam waterfall tourism. This final project aims to plan the construction of a Micro Hydro Power Plant (PLTMH) at Nglirip Dam as an alternative provider of sustainable electrical energy, especially for the surrounding community who still need electricity.
The final project was carried out through an analysis of the availability of the Guwoterus River discharge, calculation of the power and electrical energy generated, design of the MHP system, and evaluation of its economic feasibility. The analysis results show that the discharge that can be utilized as the turbine's operational discharge is 0,087 m3/second using a Kaplan turbine. The resulting power reaches 7,19 kW with an annual energy production of 62.993,17 kWh. The technical design of the MHP includes the dimensions of the intake, carrier channel, settling-settling tank, penstock, surge tank, powerhouse, and discharge channel.
From the results of the economic feasibility analysis, the investment value of Rp 1.167.382.869,99 is considered feasible with the following feasibility indicators: Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR) of 1,008; Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp 12.712.437,54; Internal Rate of Return (IRR) exceeding the interest rate of 5,5%; and Payback Period of 16,1 years. Thus, the construction of the PLTMH in Nglirip Dam is feasible to be implemented and has the potential to be a solution for providing sustainable electrical energy for the community.
