Abstract

Laporan ini menyajikan proses perancangan tiga proyek arsitektur dalam lingkup Program Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek (PPAr) meliputi Café Serenity di Sembalun Lawang, Lombok Timur; Asrama Putri SMP-SMA GIBS di Barito Kuala, Kalimantan Selatan; dan proyek Rumah Pertama di Gresik, Jawa Timur. Ketiga proyek dirancang melalui pendekatan berbasis konteks, kebutuhan pengguna, serta prinsip-prinsip arsitektur berkelanjutan. Proses perancangan secara komprehensif dibahas mengacu pada 13 Butir Standar Kompetensi Arsitek, mencakup aspek perencanaan dan perancangan, sistem bangunan dan teknologi, manajemen proyek, hingga hubungan antara manusia, bangunan, dan lingkungan. Proyek café menekankan konsep industrial tropis yang terbuka dan kontekstual terhadap iklim pegunungan. Proyek asrama berfokus pada kenyamanan termal, efisiensi sirkulasi, serta keamanan pengguna. Adapun proyek "Rumah Pertama" mengusung konsep "Tamantara" untuk memaksimalkan pencahayaan dan penghawaan alami dalam lahan terbatas. Ketiga proyek mempertimbangkan aspek teknis, estetika, efisiensi biaya, regulasi bangunan, serta dampak sosial dan ekologis terhadap lingkungan sekitar.

This report presents the design process of three architectural projects conducted within the framework of the Professional Program for Architects (PPAr), including Café Serenity in Sembalun Lawang, East Lombok; the GIBS Girls' Dormitory for junior and senior high school students in Barito Kuala, South Kalimantan; and the First Home project in Gresik, East Java. All three projects were designed using a context-based approach, responding to user needs and principles of sustainable architecture. The design process is comprehensively discussed based on the 13 Architect Competency Standards, covering aspects such as planning and design, building systems and technologies, project management, and the relationship between humans, buildings, and the environment. The café project emphasizes an open tropical industrial concept adapted to the mountainous climate. The dormitory focuses on thermal comfort, circulation efficiency, and user safety. Meanwhile, the First Home project adopts the “Tamantara” concept to optimize natural lighting and ventilation within a limited site area. All three projects consider technical aspects, aesthetics, cost efficiency, building regulations, as well as social and ecological impacts on the surrounding environment.
