Abstract
Laporan ini membahas hasil magang industri di PT. Matahari Megah yang dilaksanakan pada Februari–Juni 2024. Fokus kegiatan adalah analisis permasalahan dan pemeliharaan mesin Auto Trimming Crank Case Yamaha NMAX guna meningkatkan efisiensi produksi. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan pengolahan data berdasarkan hasil pengamatan langsung. Permasalahan yang ditemukan meliputi gangguan mekanis, kelistrikan, dan kesalahan pengoperasian, yang berpotensi menurunkan produktivitas. Solusi yang diusulkan mencakup penyesuaian prosedur kerja, perawatan rutin harian dan periodik, serta peningkatan keterampilan operator. Hasil magang menunjukkan bahwa penerapan pemeliharaan terjadwal dan perbaikan teknis mampu mengurangi waktu henti mesin serta meningkatkan kualitas hasil produksi. Pengalaman ini memberikan pemahaman praktis mengenai otomasi industri, khususnya pada mesin Auto Trimming Crank Case, serta keterkaitan antara teori yang dipelajari di kampus dengan implementasinya di industri.

This report presents the results of an industrial internship at PT. Matahari Megah conducted from February to June 2024. The main focus was analyzing problems and performing maintenance on the Yamaha NMAX Auto Trimming Crank Case machine to improve production efficiency. The methods included literature review, field observation, interviews, and data processing based on direct observations. Identified issues involved mechanical failures, electrical faults, and operational errors, potentially reducing productivity. Proposed solutions included adjustments to work procedures, daily and periodic maintenance, and enhancing operator skills. The internship results indicate that scheduled maintenance and technical improvements can reduce machine downtime and improve product quality. This experience provided practical insights into industrial automation, particularly the Auto Trimming Crank Case machine, and strengthened the connection between academic theory and its industrial application.
