Abstract
Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan dalam pengelolaan taman kota yang berorientasi pada penguatan ikatan emosional pengunjung sebagai strategi meningkatkan kunjungan berulang dan keberlanjutan fungsi taman.=============================================================Urban parks are public spaces that play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for communities, both physically and psychologically. One of the key factors influencing the sustained function of parks is place attachment, which refers to the emotional and psychological bond individuals form with a specific location. This study aims to assess the influence of place attachment on visitors’ intention to revisit Abhirupa Park in Krian, Sidoarjo Regency. The research adopts a quantitative approach through the distribution of questionnaires to 100 respondents using purposive sampling. The variables examined in this study include place identity and place dependency as dimensions of place attachment, as well as intention to revisit, intention to recommend, and perceived trust as indicators of revisit intention. Data were analyzed using Likert Scoring and Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that place attachment significantly affects revisit intention, with place dependency having a more dominant influence than place identity. These findings suggest that comfort, accessibility, and the functional relevance of the park play a greater role in encouraging return visits than symbolic or emotional values. Therefore, prioritizing physical facility improvements and park maintenance is essential to strengthen public attachment to urban spaces. This study is expected to serve as a reference for urban park management focused on enhancing emotional bonds with visitors as a strategy to increase repeat visits and support the park's sustainable function.
