Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas desain peningkatan kapasitas Dermaga II Delta Artha Bahari Nusantara (DABN) di Pelabuhan Probolinggo, Jawa Timur, sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan pelayanan kapal berkapasitas hingga 50.000 DWT. Permasalahan utama yang diidentifikasi adalah keterbatasan panjang dermaga eksisting segmen IV yang tidak mampu melayani kapal besar sesuai standar desain nasional. Studi ini mengkaji kondisi eksisting, menentukan kebutuhan teknis dermaga, dan merumuskan rekomendasi pengembangan berbasis analisis struktur menggunakan perangkat lunak SAP2000. Metodologi yang digunakan meliputi pengumpulan data teknis (angin, arus, tanah, batimetri, spesifikasi kapal), analisis beban vertikal dan horizontal (termasuk beban mati, hidup, crane, tumbukan kapal, angin, arus, dan gempa), serta perencanaan dimensi dan penulangan elemen struktur utama seperti pelat lantai, balok, pile cap, tiang pancang, fender, dan bollard. Hasil analisis menunjukkan perlunya penambahan panjang dermaga minimal 139 meter, penggunaan tiang pancang baja diameter 0,914 m, serta sistem perlindungan korosi seperti cathodic protection dan pelapisan HDPE untuk memastikan umur rencana 50 tahun. Penulangan struktur dirancang sesuai standar SNI dan ACI, dengan verifikasi kekuatan terhadap kombinasi beban kritis. Kesimpulan dari studi ini menegaskan bahwa peningkatan kapasitas dermaga melalui perpanjangan struktur dan optimalisasi desain elemen utama dapat meningkatkan efisiensi operasional pelabuhan, mendukung pertumbuhan ekonomi regional, serta memperkuat posisi Pelabuhan Probolinggo sebagai simpul logistik strategis di Jawa Timur.

This study discusses the design for increasing the capacity of Delta Artha Bahari Nusantara (DABN) Pier II at the Port of Probolinggo, East Java, in response to the need to service vessels with capacities up to 50,000 DWT. The main problem identified is the limited length of the existing pier segment IV, which is unable to accommodate large vessels according to national design standards. This study assesses the existing conditions, determines the pier's
technical requirements, and formulates development recommendations based on structural analysis using SAP2000 software. The methodology used includes collecting technical data (wind, current, soil, bathymetry, and ship specifications), analyzing vertical and horizontal loads (including dead, live, crane, ship impact, wind, current, and earthquake loads), and designing the dimensions and reinforcement of key structural elements such as floor slabs, beams, pile caps, piles, fenders, and bollards. The analysis indicates the need to increase the pier length by at least 139 meters, use 0.914 m diameter steel piles, and apply corrosion protection systems such as cathodic protection and HDPE coating to ensure a 50-year design life. The structural reinforcement was designed in accordance with Indonesian National Standard (SNI) and Indonesian International Standard (ACI) standards, with strength verification against critical load combinations. The study's conclusions confirm that increasing pier capacity through structural extension and optimizing the design of key elements can improve port operational efficiency, support regional economic growth, and strengthen the Port of Probolinggo's position as a strategic logistics hub in East Java.
