Abstract

Perancangan Pusat Layanan Harian Lansia bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan yang ramah dan mampu beradaptasi terhadap perubahan yang terjadi pada lansia melalui teori Behavior Setting, konsep Aging in Place, dengan kerangka Force-Based Framework. Lansia mengalami berbagai perubahan pada aspek fisik, psikologis, dan sosial yang memengaruhi kebutuhan serta cara mereka untuk berinteraksi dengan lingkungan fisik maupun sosialnya. Teori Behavior Setting mengeksplorasi keterkaitan antara lingkungan dengan penggunanya sehingga akan mempengaruhi perilaku pada penggunanya, dengan fokus pada bagaimana desain dapat meningkatkan kesejahteraan pada lansia. Konsep Aging in Place mendukung terciptanya ruang yang memungkinkan lansia untuk dapat menjalani kehidupan sehari hari dengan aman dalam lingkungan yang familiar dan mampu mengakomodasi berbagai kebutuhan dan kemampuan lansia melalui penerapan Universal Design. Force-Based Framework membantu untuk mengintegrasikan setiap elemen desain dengan tepat, hal ini dilakukan melalui pertimbangan faktor fisik dan sosial dari lansia, sehingga dapat terciptanya lingkungan ramah lansia yang dapat mendukung mobilitas, meningkatkan kesehatan mental, serta dapat meningkatkan keterlibatan lansia dalam lingkungan sosial. Rancangan akan mengedepankan terkait Aksesibilitas, Sensibilitas, dan Konektivitas, sehingga diharapkan rancangan dapat menghadirkan rasa keamanan, dan kenyamanan serta akan dapat meningkatkan kualitas hidup dan kesejahteraan fisik maupun mental dari lansia.

The design of the Daily Care Center for the Senior Citizens aims to create an elderly-friendly environment that can adapt to their changes through Behavior Management Theory, the Concept of Aging in Place, and a Strength-Based Framework. The Senior experience various changes in physical, psychological, and social aspects that affect their needs and how they interact with their physical and social environments. Behavior Setting Theory explores the relationship between the environment and its users so that it will affect the behavior of its users, with a focus on how design can improve well-being in the senior citizens. The Aging in Place Concept supports the creation of spaces that allow the Senior to live their daily lives safely in familiar environments, accommodating their diverse needs and abilities through the application of Universal Design. The Force-Based Framework helps to integrate each design element appropriately, this is done through consideration of the physical and social factors of the senior, so as to create an elderly-friendly environment that can support mobility, improve mental health, and increase senior social involvement. The design will prioritize Accessibility, Sensibility, and Connectivity, so that it is expected that the design can provide a sense of security, and comfort and will be able to improve the quality of life and physical and mental well-being of the senior citizens.
