Abstract

Daycare Al-Ihsan menghadapi tantangan dalam pengelolaan sistem pembayaran yang masih dilakukan secara manual, seperti pencatatan transaksi dan verifikasi pembayaran melalui WhatsApp, yang rawan terjadi kesalahan dan keterlambatan. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan merancang dan mengembangkan daycarePays, sebuah aplikasi web berbasis MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, dan Node.js) yang mampu mengotomatisasi sistem pembayaran daycare secara lebih efisien dan terintegrasi. Fitur utama aplikasi ini meliputi pendaftaran anak, pemilihan paket layanan, pencatatan absensi, perhitungan denda otomatis, serta pembayaran digital menggunakan Midtrans Payment Gateway. Aplikasi juga dilengkapi dengan notifikasi otomatis kepada orang tua terkait status tagihan dan pembayaran. Metode pengembangan sistem dilakukan melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan antarmuka, implementasi backend dan frontend, serta pengujian menggunakan metode black box testing. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh fitur inti aplikasi berfungsi dengan baik dan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Dengan adanya daycarePays, proses pembayaran di lingkungan daycare dapat dilakukan secara otomatis, aman, dan terorganisir, serta mendukung transparansi informasi kepada orang tua.
=========================================================================================================================Daycare Al-Ihsan faces challenges in managing its payment system, which is still conducted manually. Transaction records and payment verifications rely heavily on manual processes and WhatsApp communication, making them prone to errors and delays. To address these issues, this study aims to design and develop DaycarePays, a web-based application built with the MERN Stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js) to automate the daycare payment system efficiently and in an integrated manner. The application’s core features include child registration, service package selection, attendance tracking, automatic fine calculation, and digital payments via Midtrans Payment Gateway. It also provides automated notifications to parents regarding billing status and payments. The system development follows stages of requirements analysis, interface design, backend and frontend implementation, and testing using black box testing methods. The testing results show that all key features function properly and meet user needs. With the implementation of DaycarePays, the daycare’s payment process becomes more automated, secure, and organized, while also improving transparency for parents.
