Abstract

Laporan ini mengemukakan rancangan dua proyek arsitektur sebagai bagian dari proses akademik dalam Program Pendidikan Profesi Arsitek (PPAr), Departemen Arsitektur, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. Proyek pertama adalah perancangan kantor pusat M.U.G Office di Sidoarjo, yang dirancang untuk menaungi tiga divisi bisnis dalam satu bangunan kolaboratif dan multifungsi. Desain arsitektural difokuskan pada penciptaan ruang kerja yang efisien, responsif terhadap iklim tropis, dan mencerminkan karakter perusahaan melalui pendekatan bentuk, material, serta pengolahan fasad yang adaptif. Proyek ini juga mempertimbangkan aspek teknis seperti sistem struktur, MEP, serta penerapan standar regulasi nasional, termasuk SNI dan peraturan dari Kementerian PUPR.

Proyek kedua adalah hunian tinggal di Malang yang menekankan pendekatan arsitektur tropis dan kenyamanan termal melalui desain pasif. Analisis tapak, kebutuhan pengguna, serta kondisi lingkungan lokal menjadi dasar dalam merumuskan strategi perancangan yang efisien dan kontekstual. Kedua proyek memperlihatkan pemahaman integratif terhadap konsep keberlanjutan, peraturan bangunan, serta hubungan manusia dan ruang, sekaligus mencerminkan kompetensi profesional arsitek dalam menyusun solusi desain yang fungsional, estetis, dan bertanggung jawab secara sosial maupun ekologis.

This report presents two architectural design projects developed as part of the academic process in the Professional Program in Architecture (PPAr), Department of Architecture, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. The first project is the design of M.U.G Headquarters Office in Sidoarjo, envisioned as a collaborative and multifunctional workplace that accommodates three business divisions under a single roof. The architectural approach focuses on creating an efficient, climate-responsive office environment that reflects the company's identity through its form, material articulation, and adaptive facade treatment. The design also incorporates structural systems, MEP integration, and adheres to national building codes and regulations, including SNI and directives issued by the Ministry of Public Works. The second project is a residential house in Malang, emphasizing tropical architectural strategies and thermal comfort through passive design principles. Site analysis, user needs, and local environmental factors form the foundation for a contextual and efficient spatial response. Both projects demonstrate integrative thinking in sustainability, code compliance, and human centered spatial design, while showcasing the author’s professional competency in delivering architectural solutions that are functional, aesthetically grounded, and socially as well as ecologically responsible.
