Abstract

Kegiatan magang merupakan bagian dari kurikulum wajib Program Studi Sarjana Terapan Statistika Bisnis, Fakultas Vokasi, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember, yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengalaman kerja langsung di dunia industri. Magang ini dilaksanakan di Meratus Global Logistics Surabaya selama empat bulan, dari Februari hingga Juni 2025. Selama magang, penulis berkontribusi dalam tiga tugas utama, yaitu pembuatan dashboard monitoring kegiatan pengiriman domestik outbound dan inbound menggunakan Power BI, pengembangan aplikasi web untuk pengumpulan data kebutuhan dokumen invoice customer berbasis Streamlit dan Python, serta penyusunan infografis profil dan layanan perusahaan. Dalam pelaksanaannya, penulis menerapkan ilmu statistika deskriptif dan visualisasi data guna mendukung proses analisis dan pengambilan keputusan. Magang ini memberikan wawasan praktis mengenai operasional logistik serta menjadi sarana penguatan kompetensi teknis dan soft skill, seperti analisis data, komunikasi, serta pemecahan masalah. Melalui pengalaman ini, penulis memperoleh pemahaman yang lebih luas tentang penerapan ilmu statistika dalam konteks industri dan memberikan kontribusi nyata terhadap efisiensi proses bisnis di perusahaan.

The internship program is a mandatory part of the curriculum in the Applied Bachelor of Business Statistics Program, Vocational Faculty, Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember. This internship was carried out at Meratus Global Logistics Surabaya for four months, from February to June 2025. During the internship, the author contributed to three main projects: developing monitoring dashboards for domestic outbound and inbound shipments using Power BI; creating a web application for collecting customer invoice document requirements using Streamlit and Python; and designing an infographic to present the company profile and services. In completing these tasks, the author applied descriptive statistics and data visualization to support analysis and decision-making processes. This internship provided practical insight into logistics operations and served as a means to strengthen both technical and soft skills, such as data analysis, communication, and problem-solving. Through this experience, the author gained a broader understanding of how statistical knowledge can be applied in industrial contexts and contributed directly to improving the efficiency of business processes within the company.
