Abstract
Gempa bumi seringkali menjadi sebuah bencana yang mengakibatkan kerusakan infrastruktur, bangunan, bahkan korban jiwa, oleh sebab itu berbagai negara di dunia membuat standar ketahanan terhadap gempa untuk melindungi aset infrastrukur, bangunan dan manusia dari akibat yang ditimbulkan oleh adanya gempa bumi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi dampak penerapan standar bangunan tahan gempa terhadap kinerja bangunan di wilayah Indonesia. Studi ini dilakukan dengan cara membandingkan bangunan yang didesain berdasarkan standar SNI 1726:2019, Eurocode 8:2004, IS 1893:2016. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini dengan membandingkan hasil desain dengan analisis nonlinier pushover dari beberapa standar gempa untuk mendapatkan kinerja struktur bangunan tahan gempa dengan bantuan software ETABS. Hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa perencanaan bangunan berdasarkan standar SNI 1726:2019 menghasilkan jumlah luasan tulangan lentur paling kecil, kemudian adanya peningkatan luasan tulangan lentur yang dibutuhkan pada Eurocode 8:2004, dan IS 1893:2016. Selanjutnya pada anlisis nonlinier pushover juga dihasilkan performance point SNI 1726:2019 lebih tinggi sebesar 8,38% terhadap Eurocode 8:2004 dan 24,03% terhadap IS 1893:2016 pada arah X, dan 12.15 % lebih tinggi dari Eurocode 8:2004 dan 27,76% dari IS 1893:2016 pada arah Y.

Earthquakes are often disasters that cause significant damage to infrastructure, buildings, and even result in loss of life. Therefore, many countries around the world have developed earthquake-resistant standards to protect infrastructure assets, buildings, and human lives from the impacts of seismic events. This study aims to evaluate the impact of implementing earthquake-resistant building standards on the structural performance of buildings in Indonesia. The research was conducted by comparing buildings designed in accordance with three seismic codes: SNI 1726:2019 (Indonesia), Eurocode 8:2004 (Europe), and IS 1893:2016 (India). The methodology involves comparing the design results inelastically through pushover analysis based on these seismic standards, using ETABS software to assess the seismic performance of the buildings. The analysis results show that building design based on the SNI 1726:2019 standard requires the smallest amount of flexural reinforcement area, followed by an increase in reinforcement demand under Eurocode 8:2004 and IS 1893:2016. Furthermore, the nonlinear pushover analysis indicates that the performance point obtained using SNI 1726:2019 is 8.38% higher than Eurocode 8:2004 and 24.03% higher than IS 1893:2016 in the X-direction, and 12.15% higher than Eurocode 8:2004 and 27.76% higher than IS 1893:2016 in the Y-direction.
