Abstract

Bintang boson adalah objek kompak yang dibangun dari medan skalar kompleks yang terkopel dengan gravitasi dan memenuhi simetri U(1). Keadaan kesetimbangan bintang boson yang terdiri dari medan skalar kompleks yang terkopel dengan gravitasi dapat dikaji dengan menggunakan beberapa perturbasi, yaitu perturbasi medan skalar, medan gravitasional, dan medan elektromagnetik. Tesis ini mengkaji stabilitas bintang boson bermuatan bersimetri bola yang terperturbasi oleh medan skalar dan medan gravitasional.
Stabilitas tersebut didasarkan pada nilai frekuensi quasinormal yang diperoleh dengan bantuan metode WKB.

Boson stars are compact objects constructed from a complex scalar field coupled with gravity and satisfying U(1) symmetry. A variety of perturbations, including scalar field perturbation, gravitational field perturbation, and
electromagnetic field perturbation, can be used to study the equilibrium state of boson stars, which are composed of a complex scalar field coupled with gravity. This thesis examines the stability of charged boson stars with spherical
symmetry perturbed by scalar and gravitational fields. The stability is based on the quasinormal frequency values obtained with the help of the WKB method.
