Abstract

Perawatan belt conveyor melalui program preventive maintenance yang dilaksanakan oleh PT. XYZ untuk mencegah breakdown atau down time yang dapat mengganggu operasional belt conveyor PT. ABC. Kegiatan perawatan yang dilakukan masih terdapat kekurangan, khususnya dalam kegiatan monitoring kondisi bearing pada pulley belt conveyor. Monitoring temperatur dan getaran bearing atau motor masih menggunakan indera peraba. Hal ini terjadi karena keterbatasan alat ukur serta keterbatasan jangkauan pengukuran yang disebabkan sulitnya akses. Metode perawatan serta proses pelumasan yang kurang tepat juga menjadi faktor terjadinya break down. Dampaknya pada jalur belt conveyor M.7101.1 & M.7101.3 yang mengalami Down Time selama 3 bulan. Pada proyek akhir ini melibatkan pemilihan komponen seperti mikrokontroler dan sensor yang befungsi sebagai sistem monitoring secara real time serta dilengkapi serial monitor untuk menampilkan hasil pembacaan sensor. Pengujian sistem grease otomatis berdasarkan interval waktu tiap 336 jam sekaligus berdasarkan nilai parameter temperature ≥60 ̊C. dan nilai parameter getaran ≥4,5 mm/s. Sistem grease otomatis berdasarkan interval waktu berjalan sebanyak 2 kali dalam kurun waktu 15 hari. Pada pengujian pembacaan sensor didapatkan standar error dari data yaitu

Belt conveyor maintenance through a preventive maintenance programme implemented by PT. XYZ to prevent breakdowns or downtime that could disrupt the operations of PT. ABC's belt conveyor. The maintenance activities carried out still have shortcomings, particularly in monitoring the condition of the bearings on the conveyor belt pulley. Monitoring of bearing or motor temperature and vibration is still done manually. This is due to limitations in measurement tools and the limited range of measurements caused by difficult access. Inappropriate maintenance methods and lubrication processes also contribute to breakdowns. This has impacted the M.7101.1 & M.7101.3 belt conveyor lines, which experienced downtime for three months. This final project involves selecting components such as microcontrollers and sensors that function as a real-time monitoring system, equipped with a serial monitor to display sensor readings. The automatic grease system is tested based on a time interval of every 336 hours, as well as temperature parameter values ≥60°C and vibration parameter values ≥4.5 mm/s.
