Abstract

Koridor Jalan Batu Mulia Kota Baru Driyorejo yang awalnya merupakan koridor jalan umum dengan corak kawasan perdagangan dan jasa lokal dengan corak pertokoan, kemudian pada tahun 2022 mengalami perubahan corak perdagangan dan jasa dengan hadirnya UMKM berjenis PKL yang kemudian secara kontinyu berkembang setiap tahun sampai pada tahap membentuk suatu kawasan street food dengan hadirnya stan semi permanen, gerobak, dan kendaraan roda 4 yang menempati median jalan pada koridor Jalan Batu Mulia. Adanya fenomena tersebut menimbulkan dugaan adanya sense of place yang hadir pada pengunjung, pedagang, warga lokal, maupun masyarakat dari luar kawasan. Dengan adanya kajian elemen sense of place ruang publik yang telah menguji penilaian sense of place yang berdasarkan persepsi pengguna ruang publik formal pada Thamrin Park Bojonegoro, maka preferensi penelitian ini untuk meneruskan elemen sense of place yang telah ditelliti sebelumnya untuk diimplementasikan pada ruang publik informal pada kawasan street food koridor Jalan Batu Mulia Kota Baru Driyorejo. Tujuan utama penelitian ini untuk menilai sense of place pada kawasan street food koridor Jalan Batu Mulia Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik yang dianalisis menggunakan analisis GAP dan CSI. Pada analisis GAP beberapa elemen sense of place belum mampu memenuhi sense of place responden dengan teridentifikasi 7 sub-elemen yang tidak memuaskan yaitu penggunaan lahan (V1), konfigurasi ruang (V2), walkability (V4), landmark kawasan (V6), komponen pedestrian (V7), komponen utilitas jalan (V8), dan keamanan (V17). Hasil analisis CSI untuk tingkat sense of place pada kawasan street food koridor Jalan Batu Mulia Kota Baru Driyorejo sebesar 83% dengan interpretasi very good atau sangat baik.

The Batu Mulia street in Kota Baru Driyorejo Gresik, which was originally a general public road corridor with the pattern of a local trade and service area. In 2022 the area has experienced a change in the pattern of trade and services with the presence of local street vendor, then continuously developed every year until the forming a street food area with the presence of semi-permanent booths, carts, and 4-wheeled vehicles occupying the median of the road on the corridor of Batu Mulia street. The existence of this phenomenon raises a sense of place in visitors, traders, local residents, and people from outside the area. With the study of the sense of place elements of public space that has tested the assessment in Thamrin Park Bojonegoro which a formal public space, the preference of this study is to continue assess the elements of sense of place that have been examined previously to be implemented in informal public spaces in the street food area of the Batu Mulia street in Kota Baru Driyorejo. The main purpose of this study is to assess the sense of place in the street food area with analyzed using GAP and CSI analysis. In the GAP analysis, several elements of sense of place have not been able to meet the respondents sense of place by identifying 7 unsatisfactory sub-elements, such as land use (V1), space configuration (V2), walkability (V4), area landmarks (V6), pedestrian component (V7), road utility component (V8), and safety (V17). The results of the CSI analysis for the level of sense of place in the street food area of the Batu Mulia street of Kota Baru Driyorejo were 83% with a very good interpretation.
