Abstract
CV X merupakan salah satu produsen furnitur dengan produk utama sofa yang ada di Surabaya. Perusahaan ini telah berdiri selama beberapa tahun dan memiliki jaringan distribusi hingga luar daerah. Meskipun potensi pasar yang cukup besar, perusahaan menghadapi permasalahan krusial dalam efisiensi produksinya. Permasalahan ini ditandai dengan waktu produksi aktual yang melebihi waktu standar Perusahaan yang telah ditentukan. Permasalahan ini tidak hanya berdampak pada keterlambatan pemenuhan pesanan, namun juga pada pemborosan sumber daya, biaya operasional, dan produktivitas pekerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi produksi melalui penerapan lean manufacturing. Melalui analisis VSM, diidentifikasi aktivitas bernilai tambah (VA), perlu tetapi tidak bernilai tambah (NNVA), dan tidak bernilai tambah (NVA). Hasil pemetaan current state menunjukkan total lead time selama 305 menit dengan total waktu value added hanya 280 menit (62,5%), sedangkan sisanya merupakan pemborosan. Setelah perancangan future state map dan penerapan usulan perbaikan seperti perubahan layout, implementasi 5S, dan penyusunan SOP, total lead time menurun menjadi 277 menit dengan peningkatan persentase value added time menjadi 66,5%. Analisis kelayakan implementasi perbaikan menunjukkan bahwa usulan feasible diterapkan baik dari sisi kapasitas tenaga kerja maupun keuntungan biaya. Dengan peningkatan efisiensi proses produksi, perusahaan berpotensi meningkatkan daya saing dalam hal kualitas, harga, dan ketepatan waktu layanan. Temuan ini juga menunjukkan bahwa penerapan Lean Manufacturing dapat memberikan dampak signifikan terhadap proses produksi di sektor UMKM seperti industri furnitur.

CV X is a furniture manufacturer based in Surabaya, specializing in sofa production. The company has been established for several years and has a distribution network that extends beyond the local region. Despite its considerable market potential, the company faces critical issues in production efficiency. This issue is marked by actual production times exceeding the company's predetermined standard times. Such inefficiency not only leads to delays in fulfilling orders but also results in resource waste, higher operational costs, and decreased worker productivity. This study aims to improve production efficiency through the implementation of Lean Manufacturing. Using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) analysis, production activities are categorized into value-added (VA), necessary but non-value-added (NNVA), and non-value-added (NVA). The current state map shows a total lead time of 305 minutes, with only 280 minutes (62.5%) classified as value-added time, while the remainder represents waste. After designing a future state map and implementing improvement proposals such as layout changes, 5S implementation, and Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) development, the total lead time was reduced to 277 minutes, with an increased value-added percentage of 66.5%. Feasibility analysis indicates that the proposed improvements are implementable, both in terms of workforce capacity and cost efficiency. By improving production efficiency, the company has the potential to enhance its competitiveness in terms of quality, pricing, and delivery speed. These findings also demonstrate that implementing Lean Manufacturing can significantly impact the production process, especially in MSMEs like the furniture industry.
