Abstract
Perkembangan industri maritim mendorong konversi kapal trimming barge menjadi crane barge untuk mendukung operasi berat seperti konstruksi lepas pantai dan pemasangan struktur bawah laut. Tantangan utama dalam konversi ini adalah memastikan kekuatan dan stabilitas kapal setelah penambahan crawler crane yang memberikan tekanan tinggi pada geladak. Beban statik dari crane dan muatan yang diangkat, ditambah dengan beban dinamik akibat gerakan rolling, dapat menyebabkan tegangan dan deformasi yang signifikan. Untuk itu, penguatan struktur kapal diperlukan, terutama pada geladak dan elemen penopang utama, yang dapat dievaluasi dengan menggunakan metode elemen hingga (FEM). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis tegangan dan deformasi pada struktur crane barge akibat penambahan crawler crane serta pengaruh kondisi rolling. Pada penelitian ini ditunjukan bahwa gerak rolling memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan tegangan dan deformasi pada struktur, sehingga dapat menurunkan kekuatan dan kestabilan crane barge selama operasi di laut lepas.

The development of the maritime industry encourages the conversion of trimming barge vessels into crane barges to support heavy operations such as offshore construction and installation of subsea structures. The main challenge in this conversion is to ensure the strength and stability of the vessel after the addition of a crawler crane that puts high pressure on the deck. Static loads from the crane and the lifted cargo, coupled with dynamic loads due to rolling movements, can cause significant stress and deformation. Therefore, strengthening the ship structure is required, especially on the deck and main support elements, which can be evaluated using the finite element method (FEM). This study aims to analyze the stress and deformation in the crane barge structure due to the addition of a crawler crane and the effect of rolling conditions. This study shows that rolling motion has a significant effect on increasing stress and deformation in the structure, which can reduce the strength and stability of the crane barge during operations on the high seas.
