Abstract

Kebutuhan akan sistem proteksi dalam proses pengisian baterai kendaraan listrik untuk menghindari risiko korsleting, kerusakan komponen, dan bahaya keselamatan bagi pengguna. Kendaraan listrik hasil konversi memerlukan sistem kelistrikan yang terintegrasi dan andal, sehingga rancangan SOC diharapkan dapat memberikan solusi praktis dalam meningkatkan keandalan serta keamanan pengisian daya. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini meliputi pengumpulan studi literatur, identifikasi komponen kelistrikan yang relevan, penyusunan wiring diagram SOC, perangkaian sistem pada kendaraan konversi, serta pengujian lapangan untuk memastikan fungsi sistem berjalan sesuai tujuan. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa sistem SOC dapat berfungsi dengan baik dalam menghentikan arus pengisian secara otomatis, sehingga mencegah potensi gangguan pada baterai dan komponen lainnya.

The need for a protection system in the electric vehicle battery charging process to avoid the risk of short circuits, component damage, and safety hazards for users. Converted electric vehicles require an integrated and reliable electrical system, so the SOC design is expected to provide a practical solution in improving the reliability and safety of charging. The methods used in this activity include literature review, identification of relevant electrical components, development of the SOC wiring diagram, system integration on the converted vehicle, and field testing to ensure the system functions as intended. The design results indicate that the SOC system can effectively automatically stop the charging current, thereby preventing potential issues with the battery and other components.
