Abstract

PT. Wilmar Nabati, Gresik merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang produksi kebutuhan berbahan dasar nabati seperti minyak goreng nabati dan lain-lain. Saat ini dalam pengoperasian unit bisnisnya,PT. Wilmar Nabati menggunakan berbagai macam peralatan elektronika daya seperti Variable Speed Drive (VSD) dan lampu fluorescent. Namun dalam penggunaan VSD dan lampu fluorescent sebagai komponen nonlinear terdapat permasalahan lain yang ditimbulkan yaitu munculnya masalah kualitas daya berupa harmonisa dalam sistem tenaga listrik. Peralatan di industri yang umum digunakan untuk meredam harmonisa antara lain phase shifting transformer, filter harmonisa (aktif dan pasif) dan reaktor. Peralatan peralatan tersebut memiliki biaya investasi dan tingkat efektivitas peredaman harmonisa yang berbeda-beda. Oleh karena itu, studi penentuan peralatan peredam harmonisa diperlukan untuk mengatasi permasalahan harmonisa di PT. Wilmar Nabati dengan meminimalkan biaya investasi. Pada tugas akhir ini, software yang digunakan untuk proses simulasi adalah ETAP 7.0. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan phase shifting transformer dapat mengurangi pemasangan filter harmonisa sehingga diperoleh penghematan sebesar Rp 559.744.800,00.

PT. Wilmar Nabati, Gresik is a company which has business area in production of plant-based needs such as cooking oil and other vegetable oil. Currently in its business units, PT. Wilmar Nabati use various kinds of power electronics equipment such as Variable Speed Drive (VSD) and fluorescent lamps . However, the use of VSD and fluorescent lamps as a non - linear loads are other issues can cause the emergence of power quality problems such as harmonics in the power system. Some equipment in the industry that commonly used to dampen the harmonics among are phase shifting transformer, harmonic filter (active and passive) and reactor. Each of those equipments has specific investment cost and effectiveness of mitigation rate for several different harmonics characteristic. Therefore, the study of the selection of harmonic mitigation equipment necessary to overcome the problems of harmonics in PT. Wilmar Nabati to minimize investment cost. In this thesis, the software used for the simulation process is ETAP 7.0. The result of this research shows that the usage of phase shifting transformer can reduce the number of harmonic filter installed, thus the amount of saving cost obtained is Rp 559.744.800,00.
