Abstract

Kabupaten Ketapang adalah kabupaten terluas di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat dengan pusat pemerintahannya berada di kecamatan Delta Pawan sekaligus pusat Kota Ketapang. Letaknya yang strategis di antara lokasi ibukota negara baru dan punya potensi alam dan industri yang melimpah pada sektor budaya dan sejarah membuat wilayah ini menjadi tujuan investasi dan perkembangan kota yang cukup menjanjikan. Isu yang ditemukan dari rekam sejarah, kondisi sosial dan dampak ekonomi atas masuknya arus pembangunan potensi menunjukkan bahwa masih ada isu pendidikan, pertumbuhan, dan keterhambatan aspek nilai sosial yang belum tertuang di kota itu sendiri, menjadi sebuah rangkaian visi dan spekulasi terhadap permasalahan rancang berupa menghidupkan identitas budaya terkait isu pemindahan ibu kota negara, keberagaman masyarakat, dan kebutuhan akan ruang publik pada konteks kota ketapang. Untuk bisa Meningkatkan vitalitas kawasan, langkah yang perlu dipertimbangkan adalah dengan melakukan serangkaian metode terkait usaha untuk mengkonservasi cagar budaya, melalui pendekatan kontekstual berupa Critical Regionalism, sebuah penggalian dilakukan dengan cara memenuhi serangkaian aktivitas berupa analisis tapak, analisis preseden, penyusunan diagram layering sejarah & aktivitas yang terjadi, serta dilakukan transfer domain to domain untuk melibatkan force sebagai acuan dalam merancang menjadi aspek arsitektural.
Oleh karena itu, hasil eksplorasi dan pencarian terhadap ide rancang membuahkan respon berupa revitalisasi dan adaptasi kompleks heritage Keraton Matan dengan penambahan fasilitas pendukung aktivitas komunal di sekitar kawasan dan juga kota ketapang. Konsep yang dihadirkan menerapkan beberapa prinsip seperti memperkuat identitas keraton dengan sentuhan rancang yang baru, desain yang berprioritas pada konsep waterfront, menghadirkan keselarasan dan kontras secara bersama sebagai respon estetika kontekstual nusantara, serta ruang produktif yang adaptif.

Ketapang Regency is the largest district in West Kalimantan Province with the central government of Ketapang Regency located in the Delta Pawan sub-district as well as the center of Ketapang City. Its strategic location between the location of the new capital city and has abundant natural and industrial potential in the cultural and historical sectors makes this area a destination for investment and city development as promised. Issues based on historical records,
social conditions and the economic impact of the influx of potential development flows indicate that there are still issues of education, growth, and barriers to social value aspects that have not been stated in the city itself, becoming a series of visions and speculations on design issues in the form of reviving identity. cultural issues related to the relocation of the national capital, community diversity, and the need for public space in the context of the city of Ketapang. To increase vitality, the steps that need to be considered are by doing things related to efforts to conserve cultural heritage, through a contextual approach in the form of Critical Regionalism, an analysis development is carried out by developing activities in the form of sites, analysis of precedents, preparation of historical layering diagrams & related activities. occurred, as well as a domain to domain transfer to involve force as a design in designing the architectural aspect. Therefore, the results of exploration and search for design ideas resulted in a response in the form of revitalization and adaptation of the Keraton Matan heritage complex with the addition of supporting facilities for communal activities around the area and also the city of Ketapang. The concept presented applies several principles such as strengthening the identity of the palace with a new design touch, a design that prioritizes the waterfront concept, presenting harmony and contrast together as a response to the archipelago's contextual aesthetics, as well as an adaptive productive space.
