Abstract

Meningkatnya persaingan di dunia industri mengakibatkan perusahaan berusaha menemukan cara untuk mengoptimalkan segala sumber daya yang dimiliki. Pemilihan supplier dengan mengukur kinerja supplier adalah hal penting yang harus dilakukan oleh perusahaan untuk mengoptimalkan biaya dan waktu produksi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan supplier terbaik dengan cara melakukan seleksi beberapa altematif supplier berdasarkan kriteria pemilihan supplier yang telah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada PT. Giri Sekar Kedaton Gresik dengan mengambil objek penelitian supplier bahan baku seperti semen, pasir, besi, batu pondasi dan kayu. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah akan ditentukan supplier terbaik berdasarkan banyak kriteria. Metode entropy digunakan untuk melakukan perhitungan bobot tiap kriteria serta altematif, sedangkan untuk perankingan terhadap supplier digunakan metode TOPSIS (I'echnique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution)

Increasing competition in the industrial world has resulted in companies seeking ways to optimize all available resources. Supplier selection by measuring supplier performance is crucial for companies to optimize production costs and time. This study aims to determine the best supplier by selecting several alternative suppliers based on predetermined supplier selection criteria. This study was conducted at PT. Giri Sekar Kedaton Gresik, taking raw material suppliers such as cement, sand, iron, foundation stones, and wood as the research object. The problem in this study is to determine the best supplier based on multiple criteria. The entropy method is used to calculate the weight of each criterion and alternative, while the TOPSIS (Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) method is used to rank suppliers
