Abstract
Anak jalanan semakin menjadi perhatian masyarakat dan pemerintah. Kepadatan penduduk semakin tinggi begitu pula dengan perekonomian kota semakin meningkat. Begitu pula dengan anak jalanan di kota Merauke dimana anak-anak memiliki perilaku dan karakter yang cukup menjadi perhatian karena tindakan kriminalitas seperti mencuri, ngelem, dan lain sebagainya Sehingga, kebutuhan pendidikan bagi anak jalanan menjadi sebuah urgensitas yang dapat diterapkan di kalangan mereka. Pendidikan anak sangat bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan kualitas diri dalam ilmu pendidikan. Anak jalanan yang memiliki karakter bebas tidak cocok dengan pendidikan formal yang memiliki peraturan yang ketat dan berbasis kurikulum. Pendidikan non formal menjadi salah satu cara untuk membantu anak jalan dalam mengembangkan kreativitas dan pembentukan perilaku melalui pendidikan karakter tanpa harus merasa terikat dan bebas. Rumah singgah anak jalanan menjadi wadah pendidikan non-formal yang dapat dimanfaatkan bagi anak jalanan. Melalui rumah singgah anak jalanan dapat belajar meningkatkan kualitas diri lebih baik dan dengan pendekatan environmental psychology merupakan cara arsitektur dapat memfasilitasi pembentukan karakter melalui psikologi lingkungan dan Environmental Learning yang mampu memberikan pembelajaran anak melalui lingkungan yang ada disekitar. Environmental psychology dapat mengatur suasana ruang maupun lingkungan dengan tujuan untuk membentuk perilaku manusia ataupun merespon perilaku anak. Rumah singgah anak jalanan dirancang sesuai dengan behavior dari anak jalanan di Kabupaten Merauke. Sistematis dari rumah singgah sendiri berdasar pada Rancangan yang dapat beradaptasi dengan anak jalanan. Sehingga Rumah Singgah dapat menjadi wadah yang menarik perhatian anak jalanan dan bermanfaat bagi anak jalanaan.

Street children are increasingly becoming the attention of society and the government. Population density is increasing as well as the city's economy is increasing. Likewise with street children in the city of Merauke where children have behavior and characters that are quite a concern because of criminal acts such as stealing, gluing, and so on. Thus, the need for education for street children becomes an urgency that can be applied among them. Children's education is very useful for improving self-quality in education. Street children who have a free character are not suitable for formal education which has strict regulations and is curriculum-based. Non-formal education is one way to help street children develop creativity and behavior formation through character education without having to feel bound and free. The shelter for street children is a place for non-formal education that can be used for street children. Through shelters, street children can learn to improve their quality better and with an environmental psychology approach, architecture can facilitate character formation through environmental psychology and Environmental Learning which is able to provide children's learning through the environment around them. Environmental psychology can regulate the atmosphere of space and the environment with the aim of shaping human behavior or responding to children's behavior. The shelter for street children is designed according to the behavior of street children in Merauke Regency. The systematic of the shelter itself is based on a design that can adapt to street children. So that the Shelter House can be a place that attracts the attention of street children and is beneficial for street children.
